Windshield Wiper/Washer
With the ignition on or in ACC/ACCESSORY, move the lever toselect the wiper speed.
HI :Use for fast wipes.
LO :Use for slow wipes.
INT :Move the windshield wiper
lever to INT. Turn thexINT band
on the wiper lever to adjust thesensitivity.
OFF :Use to turn the wipers off.
1X :For a single wipe, briefly movethe wiper lever down. For severalwipes, hold the wiper lever down.
Clear snow and ice from the wiperblades and windshield before usingthem. If frozen to the windshield,carefully loosen or thaw them.Damaged blades should bereplaced. SeeWiper BladeReplacement0291.
Heavy snow or ice can overload thewiper motor.
Wiper Parking
If the ignition is put in OFF while thewipers are on LO, HI, or INT, theywill immediately stop.
If the windshield wiper lever is thenmoved to OFF before the driverdoor is opened or within 10 minutes,the wipers will restart and move tothe base of the windshield.
If the ignition is turned off while thewipers are performing wipes due towindshield washing or Rainsense,the wipers continue to run until theyreach the base of the windshield.
Rainsense™
With Rainsense, a sensor near thetop center of the windshield detectsthe amount of water on thewindshield and controls thefrequency of the windshield wiper.
Keep this area of the windshieldclear of debris to allow for bestsystem performance.

INT :Move the windshield wiper
lever to INT. Turn thexINT band
on the wiper lever to adjust thesensitivity.
.Turn the band up for moresensitivity to moisture.
.Turn the band down for lesssensitivity to moisture.
.Move the windshield wiper leverout of the INT position todeactivate Rainsense.
Wiper Arm Assembly Protection
When using an automatic car wash,move the windshield wiper lever toOFF. This disables the automaticRainsense windshield wipers.
With Rainsense, if the transmissionis in N (Neutral) and the vehiclespeed is very slow, the wipers willautomatically stop at the base of thewindshield.
The wiper operations return tonormal when the transmission is nolonger in N (Neutral) or the vehiclespeed has increased.
nL:Pull the windshield wiperlever toward you to spray windshieldwasher fluid and activate the wipers.The wipers will continue until thelever is released or the maximumwash time is reached. When thewindshield wiper lever is released,additional wipes may occurdepending on how long thewindshield washer had beenactivated. SeeWasher Fluid0286for information on filling thewindshield washer fluid reservoir.
{Warning
In freezing weather, do not use
the washer until the windshield is
warmed. Otherwise the washer
fluid can form ice on the
windshield, blocking your vision.
Clock
Time and Date
1. Press HOME on the radiofaceplate.
2. Touch Config on theHome Page.
3. Select Time and Date.
4. Select the desired setting tochange.
Set Time :To u c h + o r✓to increaseor decrease the hours and minutes.
If auto timing is set, the timedisplayed on the clock may notupdate immediately when drivinginto a new time zone.
Set Date :To u c h + o r✓to increaseor decrease the year, month,and day.
12hr/24hr Format :To u c h t o s e l e c t12 hour or 24 hour time format.

When the vehicle is started, thepassenger airbag status indicatorwill light ON and OFF for severalseconds as a system check. Then,after several more seconds, thestatus indicator will light either ONor OFF to let you know the status ofthe front outboard passenger frontalairbag and knee airbag.
If the word ON is lit on thepassenger airbag status indicator, itmeans that the front outboardpassenger frontal airbag and kneeairbag are allowed to inflate.
If the word OFF is lit on thepassenger airbag status indicator, itmeans that the passenger sensingsystem has turned off the frontoutboard passenger frontal airbagand knee airbag.
If, after several seconds, both statusindicator lights remain on, or if thereare no lights at all, there may be a
problem with the lights or thepassenger sensing system. Seeyour dealer for service.

If the airbag readiness light ever
comes on and stays on, it means
that something may be wrong
with the airbag system. To help
avoid injury to yourself or others,
have the vehicle serviced right

Charging System Light
The charging system light comes onbriefly when the ignition is turnedon, but the engine is not running, asachecktoshowthelightisworking.
The light turns off when the engineis started. If it does not, have thevehicle serviced by your dealer.
If the light stays on, or comes onwhile driving, there could be aproblem with the electrical chargingsystem. Have it checked by yourdealer. Driving while this light is oncould drain the battery.
If a short distance must be drivenwith the light on, be sure to turn offall accessories, such as the radioand air conditioner.
Malfunction Indicator
Lamp (Check Engine
Light)
This light is part of the vehicle’semission control on-boarddiagnostic system. If this light is onwhile the engine is running, amalfunction has been detected andthe vehicle may require service. Thelight should come on to show that itis working when the ignition is inService Mode. SeeIgnitionPositions0229.

Door Ajar Light
If equipped, this light comes onwhen a door is open or not securelylatched. Before driving, check thatall doors are properly closed. SeeDoor Ajar Messages011 4.
Information Displays
Driver Information
Center (DIC)
The DIC displays information aboutthe vehicle. It also displays warningmessages if a system problem isdetected. SeeVehicle Messages011 3.AllmessagesappearintheDIC display in the center of theinstrument cluster.
The vehicle may also have featuresthat can be customized through thecontrols on the radio. SeeVehiclePersonalization0120.
DIC Operation and Displays
The DIC has different displays,which can be accessed by using theDIC buttons on the turn signal leverto the left of the steering wheel. TheDIC displays trip, fuel, vehiclesystem information, and warningmessages if a system problem isdetected.
1.SET/CLR:Press to set,or press and hold to clear, themenu item displayed.
2.\:Use the band to scroll
through the items ineach menu.
3.MENU:Press to display theDIC menus. This button is alsoused to return to or exit the lastscreen displayed on the DIC.

Auto Volume
When selected, this feature willautomatically adjust the volume tominimize the effects of unwantedbackground noise that can resultfrom changing road surfaces, drivingspeeds, or open windows. Thisfeature works best at lower volumesettings where background noise istypically louder than the soundsystem volume.
Select Off, Low, Medium, or High.
Gracenote Options
Select to improve voice recognitionand media groupings.

XM Channel Art
When on, the radio willautomatically update the XM screenand background graphics.

.USB or Bluetooth Audio: Pressto seek to the beginning of thecurrent or previous track. If thetrack has been playing for lessthan five seconds, it seeks theprevious track. If longer thanfive seconds, the current trackstarts from the beginning.

Cleaning High Gloss Surfaces
and Vehicle Information and
Radio Displays
For vehicles with high glosssurfaces or vehicle displays, use amicrofiber cloth to wipe surfaces.Before wiping the surface with themicrofiber cloth, use a soft bristlebrush to remove dirt that couldscratch the surface. Then use themicrofiber cloth by gently rubbing toclean. Never use window cleanersor solvents. Periodically hand washthe microfiber cloth separately,using mild soap. Do not use bleachor fabric softener. Rinse thoroughlyand air dry before next use.
Caution
Do not attach a device with a
suction cup to the display. This
may cause damage and would
not be covered by the warranty.

Infotainment System Settings
Tone Settings
To a c c e s s t h e t o n e s e t t i n g s , t o u c hthe Tone Settings icon on the HomePage. Tone settings are specific toeach source.
To a d j u s t t h e s e t t i n g s :
.Bass: Touch + or✓to changethe level.
.Mid (Midrange): Touch + or✓tochange the level.
.Treble: Touch + or✓to changethe level.
.EQ: Touch or turn the TUNE/MENU knob to cycle through thepreset EQ options.
.Fade: Touch F or R for moresound from the front or rearspeakers. The middle positionbalances the sound between thefront and rear speakers.
.Balance: Touch L or R for moresound from the left or rightspeakers. The middle positionbalances the sound between theleft and right speakers.
