All of the warranties in this booklet are limited warranties and they give you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights whichvary from province to province. Some provinces do not allow theexclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, orlimitation of how long an implied warranty lasts or who is eligiblefor coverage, so the stated limitations or exclusions may not applyto you.The limited warranties in this booklet are the only express
warranties made by DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. applicable to thisvehicle. Any implied warranty or condition of merchantability orfitness for a particular purpose applicable to this vehicle is limited induration to the duration of these limited warranties.
DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. shall not be liable for commercial
loss, special or consequential damages resulting from breach ofthese written warranties or of any implied warranty or condition. O PERA TION ANDMAINTENANCE
It is your responsibility under the terms of these warranties to operate and maintain your vehicle as recommended in the OwnerÕsManual. Regular scheduled maintenance, described in your OwnerÕsManual, is essential to trouble-free operation.

ARRANTY SERVICE
Warranty service must be done by an authorized Chrysler dealer. We recommend that you return to your Selling Dealer for this service;however, you may request warranty service for your vehicle fromany DaimlerChrysler dealer. See ÒHow to Get ServiceÓon page 15.N

The Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Act requires vehiclemanufacturers to notify owners if the correction of a safety-relateddefect becomes necessary. If you change your name or address, or ifyou are a subsequent owner of this vehicle, please use the yellowName or Address Change Card , found in the glove box packet, to

ABOUT YOUR WARRANTIES

Time and distance limitations for all warranty coverage are measured from the vehicleÕs Òwarranty start date.Ó The Òwarrantystart dateÓ is the date when the vehicle was originally delivered orfirst used, whichever date occurred first. V EHICLES COVERED
The warranties in this booklet cover new 2004 Chrysler Crossfire vehicles which are built for sale in Canada and are registered andnormally operated in Canada. The warranties apply to all owners ofthe vehicle.
C OVERED REPAIRS
The warranties in this booklet cover repairs to factory-installedDaimlerChrysler parts and equipment (that is, DaimlerChrysler partsor equipment installed by DaimlerChrysler or by the Selling Dealer before the vehicle was delivered to the first owner), if the repairs werenecessary because of a defect in material or workmanship. Covered repairs will be done without charge, using new or remanu

factured DaimlerChrysler parts (see page 16). T OWING ISCOVERED
If your vehicle has to be towed because a part covered by warranty failed, towing to the nearest Chrysler dealership will be covered bythe Roadside Assistance Program (for details, see page 20). Important: Some vehicles have special towing requirements. See your OwnerÕs Manual for towing instructions.

3/60 BASIC WARRANTY
If required because of a defect in material or workmanship, the 3/60 basic warranty will cover the adjustment, repair or replacement ofany factory-installed part of your vehicle except tires for 3 years or
60,000 kilometres , whichever occurs first. The following items are
exceptions; they are only covered (if defective) for 1 year or 20,000
kilometres , whichever occurs first:
¥ wiper blades ¥ clutch discs¥ brakes (rotors, pads, linings and drums)¥ windshield and rear window¥ wheel alignment and wheel balancing. Tires are warranted by the tire manufacturers, not by DaimlerChrysler. For details, see the tire manufacturerÕs warrantybooklet in your glove box. Your DaimlerChrysler dealer may be ableto assist you if you experience a problem with a factory-installed tire.

7/115 POWERTRAIN WARRANTY
The following powertrain components are covered for 7 years or 115,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first, measured from thevehicleÕs original warranty start date. A $100 deductible per repairvisit applies after the 3-year or 60,000-kilometre basic warrantyexpires (whichever occurs first).
Vehicles placed in Police, Taxi, Limousine, Postal or Ambulance
service, or Daily Rental Vehicles built on or after October 1, 2003, areexcluded from the 7-year or 115,000-kilometre powertrain warrantyand are covered only under the 3-year or 60,000-kilometre basicwarranty. ¥ Engine Ð Cylinder block and all internal parts; cylinder head
assemblies; timing case, timing chain, timing belt, gears and sprockets; vibration damper; oil pump; water pump and housing;intake and exhaust manifolds; flywheel with starter ring gear; coreplugs; valve covers; oil pan; turbocharger housing and internalparts; turbocharger wastegate actuator; supercharger; serpentinebelt tensioner; seals and gaskets for listed components only. ¥
Transmission Ð Transmission case and all internal parts; torque
converter; drive/flex plate; transmission range switch;transmission control module; bell housing; oil pan; seals andgaskets for listed components only.
Note: Manual transmission clutch parts are not covered at any time .
¥ Rear-Wheel Drive Ð Rear axle housing and all internal parts;
axle shafts; axle shaft bearings; drive shaft assemblies; drive shaftcenter bearings; universal joints and yokes; seals and gaskets forlisted components only.

CORROSION WARRANTY
CORROSION W
ARRANTY
For 3 years, regardless of distance driven , your Corrosion Warranty
covers any body sheet metal panel which develops a hole caused by corrosion.
In addition, outer body panels are covered against holes caused
by corrosion up to 5 years or 160,000 kilometres , whichever occurs
first. An outer body panel is a sheet metal panel which can be seenwhile walking around the vehicle, and which is painted body colour.
This warranty applies only to holes caused by corrosion.
Cosmetic or surface corrosion (resulting from stone chips orscratches in the paint, for example) will not be repaired underthis warranty.
If corrosion damage is obviously neglected and allowed to
worsen until a hole develops, this warranty will not cover the repair.
C OLLISION DAMAGE
If your vehicle is damaged in an accident and needs sheet metal repair or replacement, be sure the body shop uses only genuineDaimlerChrysler parts and applies anti-corrosion materials to theparts repaired or replaced. Your Corrosion Warranty does notcover replacement parts not supplied by DaimlerChrysler, or anydamage which is caused by the use of non-DaimlerChryslerreplacement parts. See also What Is Not Covered on page 12.

ARRANTIES
DaimlerChrysler Canada warrants that your new vehicle was designed, built and equipped to conform at the time of sale withapplicable federal and provincial emissions standards, and that thevehicle is at the time of sale free from defects in material andworkmanship which would cause it to fail to conform to theapplicable emission standards within the warranty periods specified.A covered defect is one which causes your vehicle to fail to meetapplicable emission-control regulations.
To keep your vehicle operating properly and in conformance
with emission regulations, see the ÒScheduled MaintenanceÓinstructions in your OwnerÕs Manual. Only DaimlerChryslerparts should be used for maintenance and repair of your vehicleÕsemission-control systems. You should keep any receipts for maintenance service and pass
them on to the next owner of your vehicle, in case questions ariseconcerning maintenance. DaimlerChrysler Canada has the right todeny warranty coverage if your vehicle has not been properlymaintained, or if repairs are needed because parts other thanDaimlerChrysler parts were used; however, denial will not be basedon the lack of maintenance records alone.
Warranty service must be performed by an authorized
Chrysler dealer.
If emergency warranty service is required and an authorized
dealer is not available, contact DaimlerChrysler Canada CustomerAssistance (page 18) and request emission warranty service help.
