Instrument cluster
You will find a full ov
erview of the instru-
ment cluster in the "At a glance" sect ion
( = page 12).
1 Reset button
The displ ays in the instrument cluster are
ac tivated when you:
! open a door
! switch on the ignition
! press the reset button
! switch on the lights
You can modify the instrument cluster dis-
play settings, e.g. the language selection,
using the operating system ( =pa ge 108). 6
Make sure that the standard displ ayis
shown in the mu lti-function display
(= page 112).
6 Press and hold the reset button 1
until the trip me ter is reset. You can adjust the brightness of th
einstru-
ment lighting using reset button 1.
i The instrument lighti ngautomatically
adjusts itself to the brightness of the ambient
light. Brighter

Turn reset button 1clockwise.
The instrument lighting becomes
brighter. Dimmer

Turn the reset but tonan ti-clockwise.
The instrument lighting becomes dim-

Riskofaccident No
messages are displayed if the instrument
clu ster or multi-functio n display fail. You
could fail to rec ognise dangers and thereby
endanger yours elf or others.
Contact a qualified speci alist workshop
im me diately, e.g. a Mercedes-Benz Service
Centre, and have the instrument cluster or

standard display by pressing the æ

page 112). Ti

You can access theTimesubmenu via the
Settin gs...menu. You can set the clock,
for example, in the
Timesubmenu.
You will only see this function if you have a
built-in Audi o20 system.

Audio 50 APS*, you can set the tim evia the

You can make the following settings: Setting the hours
6 Movethe bar to the
Timesubmenu
using theæ orç button.
6 Press the jork button repeat-
edly until you see the
Clock, ho ursSet
by pressing R
message in the display.
The edi tmark appears on the hour fig-
ure.
6 Set the hour by pressing the æor
ç button.
6 Press the reset button (R button) on the
left-hand side of the instrument cluster
( = page 12).
