Appliesto:vehicleswithadaptivelight
Adaptivelightprovidesbettervisibilitywhenitis
darkbyadaptingthelightstotheroadconditions
basedonspeed,suchasonexpressways,rural
roads,at intersections,andincurves.Theadap-
tivelightonlyfunctionswhenthelightswitchis
intheAUTOposition.

—Automaticheadlights*areonlyintendedto
assistthedriver.They donotrelievethe
driverofresponsibilitytocheckthe head-
lightsandtoturnthemonmanuallybased
onthecurrentlightandvisibilityconditions.
Forexample,fogcannot bedetectedby the
lightsensors.Soalwaysswitchonthelow
beamsundertheseweatherconditionsand
whendrivinginthe dark20.
