Check that the windscreen and rear wipers can operate freely when for example a bicycle-carrier is fi tted, or in freezing conditions.
Remove any accumulation of snow at the base of the windsc reen.
Changing the wiper blades
If you have to replace them, the wiper blades have to be parked in the maintenance position. For this, switch off the ignition and then within one minute move the wiper control stalk. The wipers stand up in a vertical position.
After replacement, switch on the ignition and move the wiper control stalk so that the wipers resume their normal position.
A. Windscreen wash
To operate the windscreen wash, pull the wiper stalk towards you.
The screen wash is accompanied by a timed wipe of the windscreen, the headlamp wash also activates if the dipped beams are on.
B. Rear screen wipe
First notch
Off.
Second notch
Intermittent rear wipe.
Third notch
Timed rear wash/wipe.
Automatic wipe
When the windscreen wipers are operational and reverse gear is engaged.
Activation/deactivation of this func-tion is possible in the menu “Per-sonalisation/Confi guration” in the “Main menu”.
Deactivation may be necessary when a bicycle-carrier is installed on the tailgate.

Locking from the inside
A press on the control A operates the electric central locking and unlocking, provided all the doors are closed.
It is still possible to open the doors from the inside.
If one of the doors or the tailgate is open or not properly closed, the central locking does not operate.
The warning lamp associated with the control A signals 3 statuses:lt fl ashes when the ignition key is in the stop position or when the key is not detected and the doors are locked.It lights up when the ignition key is in the “accessories” posit ion or “igni-tion + engine running” or starter position and if the doors are locked.
It goes out when the doors are not locked.Note: Control A is inactive if the vehicle has been locked using the remote control or the key.
Anti-theft
In all cases, as soon as the vehicle is moving (above a speed of 10 km/h), the tailgate locks automatically. The tailgate unlocks when a door is opened or when the interior locking/unlocking control is actioned.
Anti-theft protection
On starting the vehicle, the system automatically locks the doors a s soon as you reach approximately 10 km/h (approx. 6 mph).Note: If a door has been opened, this will lock again automatically when the vehicle reaches approx. 10 (approx. 6 mph).
Activation / Deactivation of the function
After switching on the ignition, give a long press on the ce ntral unlocking button until a message is displayed.



Manual operation (Emergency mode)
It is possible to lock the vehicle’s doors, in the event of an electrical malfunction, by actioning control Bon each door.
With the door open, insert for example the end of a key into the cavity and turn.
Then close the door.
After a repair, normal functioning resumes by means of the unlock-ing control A, the remote control or the key used in the driver’s door.
If you decide to drive with the doors locked, remember that in the event of an accident t h i s r e n d e r s a c c e s s more difficult for the emergency services.

IIIThe boot can be accessed in two ways:
Open the upper tailgate 1 by pressing control A (The luggage- cover folds automatically against the upper tailgate to permit rapid access to the boot contents).
Open the upper tailgate 1 by press-ing control A, then the lower tail-gate 2 by moving control B.
Closing the upper and lower rear tailgates
Close tailgate 2, then tailgate 1.Note: As soon as the vehicle is moving at around 10 km/h, the tail-gates lock automatically.
Unlocking in emergency
In the event of a malfunction in unlocking of the upper tailgate, it can be unlocked from the boot interior:Insert a screwdriver into the aperture C in the lock.Move it until the upper tailgate unlocks.


It is necessary to open the upper tailgate in order to access the opening control for the lower tailgate.
Always close the lower tailgate before reclosing the upper tailgate.
The lower tailgate can support spread loads of up to 100 kg.

Sun visor
To prevent dazzle from ahead, fold the visor downwards. They can be disengaged from their central fi x-ing and pivoted over to the side windows if required.
The passenger’s and driver’s sun visors each have a mirror that can be covered.

Illuminates automatically on opening the mirror cover fl ap (ignition on).
Storage areas
Straps fi xed to the bottom of the boot enable you to secure objects stowed there.

Lift up the two levers located on the lower tailgate to open the cover and access the storage area.
Storage capacity : 5 litres.
The lower tailgate can support spread loads of up to 100 kg.

RemovalOpen the upper tailgate.
Detach the parcel shelf cords.Pull fi rmly downwards to disen-gage the hinge pivots.


Refi ttingOpen the upper tailgate.orient the underside of the shelf towards you.
introduce the two hinge pivots into the apertures located on the upper tailgate trim.
attach the cords (on the right hand side: take care to pass the cord to the outside of the upper tailgate strut, positioning the ball 1 of the cord between the boot attachment 2 and the tailgate hinge 3).



Do not place any hard or heavy item on the shelf.
These could be dangerous if thrown around during hars h braking or, if they touch the rear screen, could damage the heating ele ments.

Third stoplamp
To access the bulb, open the upper tailgate, remove the parcel shelf and undo the lamp unit.
Disconnect the supply connector.
Remove the lens and disengage the bulb.
Bulb: W 16 W
Number plate
Unclip the lens then pull the bulb- holder.
Bulb: W 5 W
After each operation, check that the lamps work.

The jack is specifi c to your vehicle, do not use it for any other purposes.
With a spare wheel, drive cautiously.
Access to the spare wheel
Open the lower tailgate.
Remove the blank A with the aid of the ignition key, to insert the exten-sion for the wheelbrace.
Slacken the spare wheel carrier screw.
Lift the carrier to release the retain-ing hook, then disengage it.
To reposition the spare wheel
Having repositioned the jack and its handle in its protection box in the wheel, slide the wheel into the carrier.
Lift the carrier to secure it in the safety hook.
Retighten the screw from inside the boot compartment.
Stow the wheelbrace and exten-sion.
Reposition the blank A.
Tyre pressures
This is indicated on the label on the front door pillar. See “Vehicle iden-tifi cation” and “User Precautions”.
ADVICE
The wheel bolts are specifi c to the type of wheel.
If the type of wheel is changed, check with your CITROËN dealer If the type of wheel is changed, wheel is changed,
that the wheel bolts are compatible with the new wheels.
