TOWING THE VEHICLE
Access to the tools Towing your vehicle
On the front bumper, unclip the cover
by pressing at the top left and pull-
ing at the bottom right of the cover.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towing bar.
S w i t c h o n t h e h a z a r d w a r n i n g l a m p s
on the towed vehicle.
Place the gear lever in neutral.
On the rear bumper, unclip the
cover by pressing at the bottom.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towing bar.
S w i t c h o n t h e h a z a r d w a r n i n g l a m p s
on the towed vehicle.
Towing another vehicle
The towing eye is installed under the
b o o t fl o o r .
To gain access to it:
open the boot,
r e m o v e t h e a d j u s t a b l e b o o t fl o o r ,
lift up the boot carpet,
remove the towing eye from the tool
holder. When towing with all four wheels
on the ground, always use a towing
bar.
When towing with only two wheels
on the ground, always use profes-
s i o n a l l i f t i n g e q u i p m e n t .
When towing with the engine off,
there is no longer any braking or
steering assistance.
Failure to observe this special con-
dition could result in damage to
certain braking components and
the absence of braking assistance

I f t h e i n fl a t i o n p r e s s u r e s a r e t o o l o w ,
this increases fuel consumption.
T h e i n fl a t i o n p r e s s u r e s m u s t b e
checked when the tyres are cold,
at least once a month.
A. V e h i c l e I d e n t i fi c a t i o n N u m b e r
(VIN) on the front right door pillar.
This number is engraved on the bodywork near the hinge.
For access to it, open the right-hand door.
B. VIN on the windscreen lower
c r o s s m e m b e r .
The number is on a self-adhesive label which is visible through the
windscreen.
C. Manufacturer's label.
This number is indicated on a self- d e s t r o y i n g l a b e l a f fi x e d t o t h e c e n t r e
pillar, on the left-hand side.
D. Tyre/paint label.
T h i s l a b e l i s a f fi x e d t o t h e c e n t r e p i l l a r , on the left-hand side.
It bears the following information:
- t h e t y r e i n fl a t i o n p r e s s u r e s w i t h a n d without load,
- the wheel rim and tyre sizes,
- the brands of tyre recommended by the manufacturer,
- t h e i n fl a t i o n p r e s s u r e o f t h e s p a r e wheel,
- the paint colour code.
