The portable flash light, connected to the boot wall,
possesses the double function :
- boot lamp,
- portable lamp.
The boot lamp
A comes on automatically when you
open the boot.
The portable lamp operates on rechargeable batterie s.
Note :
- Never replace the rechargeable batteries with ordi nary
batteries.
- Replace them with identical ones of the NiMH type.
- Respect the polarities when you are positioning these rechargeable batteries.

See the procedure to be followed in the chapter « C hanging
bulbs », to accees the rechargeable batteries. To use the portable flash light:
- Remove it from its housing by starting to pull from the
top as indicated by the arrow.
- Press on the switch C
, located on the back of the
lamp, to turn it on or off.
- The bracket B
allows you to put the lamp down for
a precise purpose (for example while changing a
wheel).
To stow the portable flash light:
- Always position the lamp in its housing starting from the bottom.
if it is not properly positioned, it may not recharge and will fail to come on when you open the boot.
Note:
- Putting the portable lamp back in position automati -
cally turns it off, if you have not already done so.
- The portable lamp can stay on for a maximum
of 45 minutes and recharges in a
few hours as you are driving.: 183

The rear pneumatic suspension enhances driving
comfort by maintaining a constant body height what-
ever the vehicle load.
OPERATION
- if there is an increase in vehicle load, a sinking of the rear of the vehicle is detected and the pneumatic
springs inflate in order to compensate for the extra
weight.
- if there is an decrease in load, a rising of the rear of the vehicle is detected and so the pneumatic springs
deflate to return the vehicle to its nominal height.
- if the vehicle has been unused for a long period, the pneumatic springs may inflate if necessary when you
unlock or open a door, so as to return the vehicle to
its nominal height. Note
: if you do not reactivate the system manually,
the automatic correction will be activated as soon as
the vehicle starts to move. during the correction, the
SERViCE warning lamp lights up and a message on the
screen reminds you not to exceed 10 km/h (6 mph).
Note : the automatic correction does not function if the
doors or the tailgate are open.
The automatic correction operates even if your vehicle
is in economy mode.
ACTIVATION / DEACTIVATION
The automatic correction can be deactivated :
- Press on the button B for approximately two seconds.
-
Release the button when you hear a beep. deactivati on
is confirmed by the lighting of the LED on the butto n B.
it is essential that you should deactivate the system in the following instances :
- working under the vehicle,
- changing a wheel,
- transporting the vehicle on a truck or on a boot.
To reactivate the automatic correction :
- Press again on the button B for approximately
two seconds.
- Release the button when you hear a beep. Activati on is
confirmed by the extinction of the LED on the button B .
In the event of the system malfunctioning, alert
messages, always in association with the SERVICE warning lamp, will display in the instrument panel.

Repeating the last piece of voice infor-mationA few seconds after enunciation of a guid-ance voice instruction, you have the pos-sibility of hearing it again.Keep the end of the lighting control stalk pressed.
How to adjust the volume for the voice instructions ?While a voice instruction is being spoken, press on the volume adjustment but ton c ontrols either on the system or on the steering wheel.Adjustment is also possible in the “Confi gu-ration” menu.

Selection of a pre- defi ned musical ambiance automatically adjusts bass and treble. Select the musical ambiance “None” to personalise your adjustment of bass and treble.Adjustments of loudness, bass and treble (when they are available) are specifi c to each source.The sound volume is automatically corrected as a function of vehicle speed, provided the facility has been activated.
Press button SoURCE.
Rotate the control or use the buttons at the steering B and C to increase or decrease the volume.
How to stop the sound momentarily ?Press on the Mute button D.The sound of the Audio source currently b e i n g l i s t e n e d t o i s c u t . T h e g u i d a n c e instructions remain activated. To restore sound, press on one of the buttons on your Navidrive, or on one of the controls on the steering wheel.

TA/PTY button to activate auto-PTYmatic broadcasting of traffi c announcemnts.
During broadcasting of traf fi c announce -ments, the sound volume can be adjusted independent ly of t he gener al r adio vol -ume.Rotate the control or press on the controls at the steering wheel J and K to increase or decrease the volume.
The “TA” function lets you switch automati-TATAcally on a temporary basis to an FM station broadcasting road information.The radio station, or the audio source being listened to at that moment, is paused. once the traffi c information is fi nished, the system switches back to the radio station or audio source initially being listened to.Press on the TA/PTY button to stop listening PTYto a message being broadcast.
CONDITIONS FOR RECEIVING TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENTS
You have to be in FM.The station you are tuned to must confi rm through the RdS system that it broadcasts road information.Stations organised in a network (EoN) have regional transmitters sending their own programmes. While listening to one of these stations you can switch to any station on the network that is broadcasting traffi c information messages.

1. Press on button C or rotate the control on the steering wheel D upwards to listen to the next Cd.2. The telephone function consists of a GSM telephone incorporated in Navidrive.it has a “Hands-free” function, provided by a microphone located in the front interior lamp and controls at the steering wheel for accessing the majority of operations.

Do not allow yourself to be distracted while you are driving.I t i s e s s e n t i a l t o c o m p l y w i t h t h e national legislation in force.Stop the vehicle if you wish to pursue a telephone conversation or proceed w i t h c e r t a i n a c t i o n s (c o m p o si n g a number for example).
Apart from during a communication, it indi-cates to you:the presence of voice messages or text messages (S M S) that have not been read,the communication time since the last update,the level of reception of the networks.
during a communication, it indicates to you:the time elapsed since the star t of the communication,the number (provided the option and the service are available),the name of your correspondant (if this is recorded in the directory),the level of reception of the network.
