Head restraint
To raise it, pull it upwards. To lower it, press on the control as well as on the head restraint. The adjustment is correct when the top of the head restraint is level with the top of the head. It can also be adjusted for tilt.
To remove it, press on the unlocking button and pull it up-wards.
To adjust the head restraint fore/aft, move the base of the head restraint to obtain the position desired.
Note : Never drive without the head restraints fi tted.
Backrest angle
Action the control and adjust the angle of the backrest.
It is possible to incline the backrest 45° rearwards by tilting it until it locks ; to unlock it, lift the control.
Seat height adjustment
Raise or lower the the control the number of times necessary to obtain the position desired.
Lumbar support
Rotate the control until you attain the position desired.
Longitudinal adjustment
Raise the control bar, then slide the seat to the positio n desired.
Armrest
To adjust the position of the armrest, pull it up and then fully down, and then raise it to the desired position.

Heated seats
The front seats can be heated independently. Use the controls on the inner sides of the seats and choose one of the three heat intensities below
0 : Off.
1 : Slight heat.
2 : Medium heat.
3 : Strong heat.
The seat temperature will adjust automatically.
Note : the heated seats only func-tion when the engine is running.
Note : The seats can also be adjusted on a temporary basis :
- on opening one of the front doors.
- after switching off the ignition.
Electric adjustments :
Adjustment of seat height and angle, longitudinal adjustment
Adjustment of backrest angle and lumbar support
Raise or lower the front of control 1 to raise or lower the front of the seat base (on driver’s seat).
Raise or lower the rear of control 1 to raise or lower the seat.
Action control 1 forwards or rearwards to slide the seat forwards / backwards.
Push the top of control 2 forwards or rearwards to adjust the backrest angle.
Raise or lower control 2 to increase or decrease the lumbar support.

To recall a memorised driving position
Vehicle stationary, ignition switched on or engine running
- Press briefl y on button 1 or 2 to recallthe corresponding pre-set position.
Note : after fi ve consecutive re-calls of a pre-set position, the function will be deactivated until the engine is started.
Vehicle in motion
- Keep button 1 or 2 pressed to recall the corresponding pre-set position.
Memorisation of driving positions
You can pre-set two driving posi-tions via the buttons located on the side of the seat.
Memorising a driving position
To pre-set a driving position :
- With the ignition on, adjust your seat and your rear view mirrors.
- Press on button M then imme-diately on button 1 "fi rst driving position" or button 2 "second driving position".
The memorisation will be con-fi rmed by a sound signal. Memo-risation of a new position cancels the previous one.
Do not attempt to pre-set a driving position while the vehicle is moving.

For easy modifi cation of your interior vehicle space, all the rear seats can be individually folded : onto the second-row fl oor, and under the third-row fl oor (in the case of the Grand C4 Picasso). You can then have a load fl oor that is continuous up to the front seat backrests.

LONGITUDINAL ADJUSTMENT
Lift the control A, located at the front of the seat, then adjust the seat into the position desired.
THE “COMFORT" POSITION
The 3 second-row seats are inde-pendent of each other and all the same width. They all can have a “comfort" position.
To place the seat(s) in the comfort position
- Pull on the control B.
The backrest reclines and the seat base pivots slightly.
To return the seat to the initial position
- Pull on the control B and allow the seat to come forwards.
IMPORTANT : Always supervise any movements of seats by chil-dren.
REAR HEAD RESTRAINTS
The rear head restraints have two possible positions :
1. a low position for when the seats are not occupied,
2. a high position to ensure pas-senger safety, by raising the restraints to their locking posi-tion.
To lower the head restraints
- Press on the unlocking button.
- Press on the top of the head restraint.
To raise the head restraints
- Pull the head restraint upwards as far as it will go.
- Press on the unlocking button and pull the head restraint up-wards.

Each seat can be folded onto the fl oor to enable you to modify your vehicle’s interior space.
TO FOLD THE SEATS
- Pull fi rmly upwards on strap C, as indicated by the red arrow, to unlock the seat ; maintain the pressure until the seat is fully folded.
- Push the backrest slightly forwards so that the back-rest pivots, folding onto the seat base. The assembly then lowers onto the fl oor.
TO RETURN THE SEATS TO THE UPRIGHT
POSITION
- Raise the backrests and push them rearwards so that they lock in position
PLATES BEHIND THE SECOND ROW
SEATS
Plates below the second row seats provide the bottom of the bootspace with rigidity. They automatically fol-low the seat movements (e.g. longitudinal adjustment, folding).
A storage area is available underneath the plates.
IMPORTANT : Always supervise any movements of seats by children.

Each seat can be folded onto the fl oor to form a fl at surface, thus enabling you to modify your vehi-cle’s interior space.
TO FOLD THE SEATS
From the exterior
- Pull fi rmly upwards on strap C, as indicated by the red arrow, to unlock the seat ; maintain the pressure until the seat is fully folded.
- Push the backrest slightly for-wards, so that the backrest piv-ots, folding onto the seat base. The assembly will then lower onto the fl oor.
From the boot (in the loading situation, for example)
You can fold the second-row seat(s) from the boot, having fi rst folded the third-row seats.
- Pull on the control D to unlock the chosen seat, push the back-rest gently forwards.
TO RETURN THE SEATS TO
THE UPRIGHT POSITION
1. Return the second-row seat bases to their initial position and lock them in that position.
2. Raise the backrests and push them rearwards so that they lock in position.
To unlock / lock the rigid plate :
- Slide the latch A on the plate downwards, to unlock.
- Return the plate to the upright position, then slide the latch Aupwards, to lock.
Note : Before deploying the rigid plates, check that the second-row seats are slid as far as possible rearwards. 5-seater confi gurations do not have these rigid plates.
RIGID PLATE
Each second-row seat backrest has a rigid plate attached.
This plate enables you :
- to have a continuous load surface in the boot, whatever the positions of the seats,
- to avoid having objects sliding un-der the second-row seats.
Before moving the third-row seats, return the second-row rigid plates to their initial posi-tion and lock them.
Emergency exit : Should the fi rst system fail (control C), the control D is available for use by third-row passengers to accel-erate their exit.
IMPORTANT : Always super-vise any movements of seats by children.

“CINEMA SEAT" POSITION
This position allows you to free up space between the fi rst row and the second row.
Pull the control E under the seat.
Note : This position is only pos-sible with the lateral seats.
ACCESS TO THE THIRD ROW SEATS
The third-row seats can be accessed via the lateral second-row seats.
1. Pull the control E. The seat un-locks and the seat base comes up against the backrest.
2. Hold the control E in the raised position, pushing forwards. The whole slides towards the front seat.
3. Raise and lock the rigid plate.
Space becomes free behind the seat, the third-row passengers can get to their seats.
To exit the third-row seat positions :
1. Hold the control E in the raised position. The seat unlocks and the seat base comes up against the backrest.
2. Push the seat backrest, still holding the control E in the raised position.
Note : if the table on the back of the fi rst-row seat is down, close it to enable this operation.
Repositioning the seat,
from the exterior,
with the door open
If there are passengers seated in the third row :
1. Manually return the assembly as far as possible rearwards. The seat does not return as far as the maximum rearwards position, so as to retain leg space for the third-row pas-sengers.
2. Fold the seat base.
