Installing electricalaccessories

Your vehicle's electrical system isdesigned to operate with standard or optional equipment.
Before installing other electrical equipment or accessories on your vehicle, contact a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.
Configurations
The type of electrical system of the vehicle depends on its level of equipment.
To i d e n t i fy the type of electrical system on your vehicle, open the bonnet: the presence of anadditional fusebox in front of the battery indicates that it is type 2.
The type 1 electrical system does not have any fuses in front of the battery.

Engine compartment fuses
An additional fusebox is fitted in front of thebattery, for type 2. The
fusebox is placed in the engine compartment near the battery (left-hand side).Access to the fuses

Unclip the cover, by pushing the two red latches towards the rear of the vehicle. )
Change the fuse (see correspondingparagraph). )
When you have finished, close the cover carefully to ensure correct sealing of the
fusebox.

Please note this precaution. You are advised to contact a CITROËNrepresentative to be shown the range of recommended equipment and accessories.
Installation of radiocommunicationtransmitters
Before installing any after-market radio communication transmitter, you cancontact a CITROËN dealer for thespecification of transmitters which canbe fitted (frequency, maximum power,aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the VehicleElectromagnetic Compatibility Directive(2004/104/EC).



Depending on the legislation in forcein the country, it may be compulsory to have a high visibility safety vest, warning triangle, breathalyzers and spare bulbs and fuses available in thevehicle.
