Sliding sun visor

Sliding blinds are provided for your protection
against bright sunlight. They can be adjusted manually.)Slide the blind to the desired position by pushing at A.

Glove box


Depending on equipment, it may contain a CD
player. ) To open the glove box, raise the handle.
It is illuminated when the lid is opened.
It is cooled by a manual directional ventilation
nozzle.
It is connected directly to your vehicle's air conditioning system and is supplied with cool
air whatever the temperature setting for the
passenger compartment.
The refrigeration of your glove box operates only with the engine running and the air conditioning on. Th
e blinds are extended on the sun visor rails.
Fold the visor downwards, to protect against dazzle to the face.
If dazzle is coming from the side windows,
detach the visor from its housing above the centre of the windscreen and pivot it to the side.
The visors are fitted with a locking system on
their central housing when the blind is reeled in.
To detach the visor or to reposition it, it must be
in a ver tical position.

Sliding blinds
Do not attach or suspend heavy objects on the slide rail of the sun blind.

Central storage compartment

It is illuminated on opening.
A button on the upper par t allows the lighting tobe deactivated.
230 V / 50 Hz power socket
A 230 V / 50 Hz socket (maximum power:
120 W) is fitted in the central storage box.
To use the socket: ) open the central storage box, )
check that the warning lamp is on green,)
connect your multimedia or other electrical
device (telephone charger, laptop computer, CD-DVD player, baby food
warmer...).
This socket works with the engine running, aswell as in STOP mode with Stop & Star t.
Depending on equipment, it may contain:


- one 230 V socket,

- one 12 V socket,

- one or two U
SB ports,

- one auxiliary socket

In the event of a fault with the socket, the
greenwarning lamp flashes.

12 V acc essory socket
The auxiliary socket is located in the central
storage box.
It permits the connection of a por table device,
such as a di
gital audio player of the iPod® type,®
to listen to your music files using the vehicle's
speakers.
The management of the files is done using your
por table device. Dependin
g on equipment, one or two USBports are located in the central storage box.
They allow the connection of a por table device
or a USB memory stick.
They read the audio files which are transmitted
to your audio equipment and played via the
vehicle's speakers.
You can manage these files using the steeringmounted or touch screen tablet controls.

When a USB por t is used, the por tabledevice charges automatically.

Only the right hand USB por t can be used to connect an Apple®
player or the ®

Rear multimedia

This multimedia system allows rear passengers
to connect one or two external portablesystems (audio or video player, games consoles, DVD player...). The sound is played
through two Bluetooth ®wireless headphone sets, while the video content is displayed in two
7- i nch screens built into the backs of the frontseat head restraints.
Description

This system operates only with theengine running.
The
pack includes:
- the connection and control panel fitted on
the rear face of the centre console,

Installation of radiocommunicationtransmitters
Before installing any after-market radio communication transmitter, you cancontact a CITROËN dealer for thespecification of transmitters which canbe fitted (frequency, maximum power,aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the VehicleElectromagnetic Compatibility Directive(2004/104/EC).



Depending on the legislation in forcein the country, it may be compulsory to have a high visibility safety vest, warning triangle, breathalyzers and spare bulbs and fuses available in thevehicle.

The screen is of the "resistive" t
ype, it is necessary to press fi rmly, particularly for "fl ick" gestures (scrolling through a list, moving the map...).
A simple wipe will not be enough. pressing with more than one fi nger is not recognised.
The screen can be used when wearin
g gloves. This technology allows use at all temperatures.

The system builds playlists (in temporarymemory), an operation which can take froma few seconds to several minutes at the fi rstconnection.
R
educe the number of non-music fi les and the number of folders to reduce the waiting time.

The playlists are updated every time the ignition
is switched off or connection of a USB memory stick. However, the system memorises these
lists and if they are not modifi ed, the loadingtime will be shorter.

The steering mounted SRC(source) button can be used to go to thenext media source, available if the source is active.

The audio equipment will only play audio fi les with ".wma, .aac, .fl ac, .ogg and .mp3" fi le extensions and with a bit rate of between32 Kbps and 320 Kbps.
It also supports VBR
(Variable Bit Rate) mode.
No other t
ype of fi le (.mp4, ...) can be played.
WMA fi les must be of the standard wma 9 t
ype.
The samplin
g rates supported are 11, 22, 44 and 48 KHz.

It is advisable to restrict fi le names to 20 characters, without usin
g of special characters (e.g.: " " ? ; ù) to avoid any playing and displayingproblems.

In order to be able to play a recorded
CDR or CDRW, whenrecording it is preferable to select the ISO 9660 level 1, 2 or Jolietstandard.
If the disc is recorded in another format it ma
y not be playedcorrectly.

It is recommended that the same recording standard is always used for an individual disc, with as low a speed as possible (4x maximum)for optimum sound quality.
In the particular case o
f a multi-session CD, the Joliet standard isrecommended.


Information and advice

The system supports USB mass storage devices, BlackBerry®

devices or Apple players via the right hand USB port. The adaptor cable is not supplied.

Control of the peripheral device is with the audio system controls.

Other peripherals, not recognised on connection, must be connected
to the auxiliary socket using a Jack cable (not supplied).
In order to be read, a U
SB memory stick must be formatted FAT 16 or 32.
MUSIC

The system does not support two identical devices connected at thesame time (two memory sticks, two Apple®players) but it is possible to ®
connect one memory stick and one Apple ®
player at the same time. ®

It is recommended that offi cial AppleÆ
USB cables are used toÆ
ensure correct operation.
