How to Refuel
Your fuel tank is not equipped with a fuel filler cap. You can insert the filler nozzle
directly into the filler neck. The tank seals itself again when you pull out the filler
nozzle. 1.Stop your vehicle with the service station
pump on the left side of the vehicle in the
rear.
2. Turn off the power system.
3. Unlock the driver’s door.
u The fuel fill door on the outer side of the
vehicle will unlock.
4. Press and release the area indicated by the
arrow to release the fuel fill door. You will
hear a click and the li d will open slightly.
5. Manually pull the fuel fill door to a fully
open position.1How to Refuel
The fuel filler opening is designed to accept only
service station filler nozzles for refueling. Use of
smaller diameter tubes (e.g., those used to siphon fuel
for other uses) or other non-service station devices can
damage the area in and around the filler opening.
Use the master door lock swit ch to unlock the fuel fill
door.
The vehicle doors and fuel fill door automatically
relock if the keyless remo te unlock function is used.
This can be deactivated by briefly opening then
closing the driver’s door.
Using the Walk away auto lock® feature will also lock
the fuel fill door. Always make sure both the driver’s
door and fuel fill door are unlocked before
attempting to open th e fuel fill door.

Remote Transmitter Care
Replacing the Remote Battery
If the indicator does not come on when the button is pressed, replace the battery.
1. Remove the built-in key.
2. Remove the upper half of the cover by
carefully prying on the slot with key grip.
u Wrap a key grip with a cloth to prevent
scratching the keyless remote.
u Remove carefully to avoid losing the
buttons.
3. Remove the battery by prying on the edge
with flat-tip screwdri ver. Make sure to
replace the battery with the correct polarity.
u Wrap a flat-tip screwdriver with a cloth

Checking the Procedure
When the READY indicator does not come on the gauge, check th e following items and take appropriate action.
If you cannot turn on the power system after checking all the it ems in the list above, have your vehicle checked by a dealer.
If you must start the vehicle immediately, use an as sisting vehicle or booster battery to jump start it.

If the Keyless Remote Battery is Weak
If the beeper sounds, the To start, touch start butto n with emblem side of
remote message appears on the driver information interface, the POWER button
flashes, and the READY indicator does not come on, tu rn on the power system as
follows: 1.Press the POWER button.
u The beeper sounds and the POWER
button flashes for about 30 seconds.
2. Touch the center of the POWER button
with the H logo on the keyle ss remote while
the POWER button is flashing. The buttons
on the keyless remote should be facing you.
u The beeper sounds, and the POWER
button stays on for about 10 seconds.
3. Depress the brake pedal and press the
POWER button while the POWER button is
on.
u The READY indicator comes on.
u If you don’t depress the pedal, the mode
will change to ACCESSORY.

Shift Lever Does Not Move
Follow the procedure below if you cannot move the shift lever out of the (P
position.
1.Set the parking brake.
2. Set the power mode to VEHICLE OFF.
3. Remove the built-in key from the keyless
remote.
4. Wrap a cloth around the tip of the built-in
key. Put it into the shift lock release slot as
shown in the image, and remove the cover.
5. Insert the key into the shift lock release slot.
6. While pushing the key down, press the shift
lever release button, and place the shift
lever into
(N.
u The lock is now released. Have the shift
lever checked by a de aler as soon as
possible.
