The deceleration energy from braking is

The battery power is used for driving

The engine’s power is used for charging
the battery, and the motor’s power is used

Engine Braking Charging
The engine’s power is reduced for slowing
down the vehicle, and the deceleration

Accessing Pandora Radio Mode
Press the “Pandora” icon after selecting All Menus or the INFO
hard-key to enter Pandora Radio mode.
Pandora Radio Mode Screen Controls
Name Description
Mode Displays current operating mode.
Station Info Shows the station name current playing.
Track Info Shows the artist/title information current playing.
Play Time Displays the current play time.
Thumb
Down If you don’t like the music current playing, press
this button to move to the next music and to min-
imize the number of playbacks of similar genre
music.

You can move to next song up to specific times
which pandora allows
Thumb Up If you like the genre of the music current playing,
press this button to send a “Thumb Up” signal to
Pandora so that more similar music will play.
Play/Pause Plays/pauses the current song

Bookmark Artist
Adds the artist of the music current pla ying to
the bookmarks list. You can view your bookmarked artists and
songs from your Pandora profile online. Go to
pandora.com, then click on the “Your Profile”
button above the player. That will bring up a
page with your stations, bookmarked artists,
and bookmarked songs.

SoundHound
SoundHound is a music search engine. It enables users to identify
music by playing or singing a song. It is also possible to search by
typing the name of the artist, song, album or lyrics.
Accessing SoundHound
1. From the Home screen, select All Menus, My Menu or Apps
then select SoundHound
button.
2. Select SoundHound
button on Radio modes (AM, FM and
SiriusXM) or Media modes (CD, Bluetooth Audio, iPod, USB,
My Music and AUX).

Name Description
ModeDisplays current operating mode.
Back button Goes back to previous mode.

What’s that
Song? Starts the song recognition process. After this

process is complete, it goes to Song screen.

Recognizing Music
After selecting SoundHound button, the song recognition pro-
cess is activated, the system will match current playing song with
the SoundHound music database.
Music from Smartphones and MP3 players that are not connected
to head unit can also be recognized.
Searching Music
Music can also be searched by selecting the Search option in
SoundHound main screen and typing a song, artist, album or lyr-
ics into the search field.
Name Description
Now Listening…Message displayed while SoundHound is pro-
cessing the music.
Retry
Starts over the song recognition process.
CancelCancels song recognition process and Exits
SoundHound.
Back button
Goes back to previous screen.

Displays current operating mode.

Songs Displays a list of recommended songs by

Displays list of similar artists to currently play-
ing artist.
