When trouble arises
RC350/RCF_U (OM24636U)
Indicates that the tire inflation pressure is low
 Check the tire inflation pressure, and adjust to the
appropriate level.
Indicates a malfunction in th e tire pressure warning sys-
tem
 Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine
switch off then on again.
If the tire pressure warning indicator flashes for 1
minute then illuminates, there is a malfunction in the
system. Have the vehicle inspected at your Lexus
dealer.
Indicates that the tire position information cannot be rec-
ognized
Drive for a short while an d check if the display
updates.
If the radio wave conditions improve, the display
may return to normal. If th e tire pressure is still not
displayed after driving for several minutes, stop the
vehicle in a safe place, turn the engine switch off
then on again, and start driving.
If the tire pressure is still not displayed even after
repeating this process several times, have the vehi-
cle inspected at your Lexus dealer.
RC F only
Indicates a malfunction in the active rear wing
 Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
Indicates that the wash er fluid level is low
 Add washer fluid.

Indicates that the Automatic High Beam switch is
pressed while the headlights are in low beam.
 Turn the high beam on and press the Automatic
High Beam switch again.
(If equipped)
Indicates that, since the VSC (Vehicle Stability Control)
system was turned off, the pre-collision brake system
operation is stopped Operation of the pre-collision brake assist and the
steering control (if equipped) of the PCS (Pre-Colli-
sion system) are also stopped.
 Turn the VSC on. ( P. 285)
(If equipped)
Indicates that the PCS (Pre-Collision System) is not cur-
rently functional because the grille cover or the sensor is
dirty
 Check the grille cover and the sensor and clean
them if they are dirty.
Indicates that operation of large electricity consuming
systems such as the air conditioning system are sus-
pended
Stop using unnecessary electric components to
reduce electricity consumption. Wait a while until
the electric power supply is restored.

■Warning message in radar cruise mode (if equipped)
In the following situations, the warning messag e may not be displayed even if vehicle-to-
vehicle distance decreases:
●When your vehicle and the vehicle ahead are traveling at the same speed or the vehicle
ahead is traveling more quickly than your vehicle
●When the vehicle ahead is traveling at a very low speed
●Immediately after cruise control speed is set
●At the instant the accelerator pedal is depressed
■The LDA (Lane Departure Alert) lane departure warning function
In the following situations, the warning messag e will not be displayed even if a lane line is
crossed.
●When the vehicle speed deviates from the operating range of the LDA system func-
tions
●When the lane lines cannot be recognized
■Reset the maintenance data (U.S.A. only)
Make sure to reset the oil change system. ( P. 4 6 7 )

• When the doors were unlockedwith the mechanical key and then
the engine switch was pressed,
the electronic key could not be
detected in the vehicle.
• The electronic key could not be detected in the vehicle even after
the engine switch was pressed
two consecutive times.
 Touch the electronic key to the
engine switch while depressing
the brake pedal.

During an engine starting proce-
dure in the event that the electronic
key was not functioning properly
( P. 592), the engine switch was
touched with the electronic key.
 Press the engine switch within
10 seconds of the buzzer sound-
ing.

Indicates that:
• With the engine switch off, the
doors were unlocked and then the
driver's door was opened and
closed
• The engine switch was turned to ACCESSORY mode without
starting the engine
• The shift lever was shifted to P or N from another shift position with
the engine switch in IGNITION
ON mode.
 Press the engine switch while
depressing the brake pedal.

●Stop the vehicle on a hard, flat surface.
●Set the parking brake.
●Shift the shift lever to P.
●Stop the engine.
●Turn on the emergency flashers. (P. 522)
If you have a flat tire (vehicles with a spare tire)
Your vehicle is equipped with a spare ti re. The flat tire can be replaced with
the spare tire.

Do not continue driving with a flat tire.
Driving even a short distance with a flat ti re can damage the tire and the wheel beyond
repair, which could result in an accident.
