Guide lines:
Guide linedisplay canbeturned onand offbypushing
the CAMERA button.
Display adjustments:
For operations toadjust thescreen display settings
including brightness, language,etc.,seetheseparately

Models without navigation system:
Brightness, ContrastandLanguage ofthe messages
on the Rearview Monitorscreencanbeadjusted.
1. Push theENTER/SETTING buttonwhilethe
Rearview Monitorscreenisdisplayed. Eachtime
the ENTER/SETTING buttonispushed, thenext
setting itemisselected.
2. Turn theTUNE´FOLDER controlknobtoadjust the
setting ofthe item.
3. Push theENTER/SETTING buttontocomplete
the setting adjustment.
4. Push ENTER/SETTING buttonagaintoselect the
next setting item.
Setting adjustment modewillend ifthe ENTER/
SETTING buttonispushed whilethelast setting item
is selected, ifthe BACK button ispushed orifthe
screen isleft without operation forsome time.

camera, wipewithacloth dampened withdiluted
mild cleaning agentandthen wipe withadry cloth.
. Donot damage thecamera asthe monitor screen
may beadversely affected.
. Donot use wax onthe camera window.Wipe off
any wax with aclean clothdampened withmild
detergent dilutedwithwater.

. Confirm thattheCD isnot bent orwarped anditis
free ofscratches.

Eject CD:

This isamalfunction duetothe temperature insidethe
player istoo high. Remove theCD bypushing the
EJECT button, andafter ashort timereinsert theCD.
The CDcan beplayed whenthetemperature ofthe
player returns tonormal.
WARNING:
Do not adjust theaudio system whiledriving.
The audio system operates whentheignition switchis
in the ªACCº orªONº position. Ifyou want tolisten to
the radio orCD while theengine isnot running, turn
the ignition switchtothe ªACCº position. Donot use
for anextended periodoftime withtheengine
stopped.
USB (Universal SerialBus)(ifequipped)

Do not connect, disconnect oroperate theUSB
device whiledriving. Doingsocan beadistrac-
tion. Ifdistracted youcould losecontrol ofyour

CAUTION:
. Donot force theUSB device intotheUSB
port. Inserting theUSB device tiltedorup-
side-down intotheport may damage the
port. Make surethattheUSB device is
connected correctlyintotheUSB port.
. Donot grab theUSB portcover (ifequipped)
when pulling theUSB device outofthe port.
This could damage theport andthecover.
. Donot leave theUSB cable inaplace where
it can bepulled unintentionally. Pullingthe
cable maydamage theport.
The vehicle isnot equipped withaUSB device. USB
devices shouldbepurchased separatelyasnecessary .
This system cannotbeused toformat USBdevices. To
format aUSB device, useapersonal computer.
In some states/area, theUSB device forthe front seats
plays onlysound without imagesforregulatory
reasons, evenwhen thevehicle isparked.
This system supports variousUSBmemory devices,
USB harddrives andiPod players. SomeUSBdevices
may notbesupported bythis system.
. Partitioned USBdevices maynotbeplayed
correctly .
. Some characters usedinother languages (Chi-
nese, Japanese, etc.)arenot displayed properly
on display .Using English language characters
with aUSB device isrecommended.

. Improperly plugginginthe iPod may cause a
checkmark tobe displayed onand off(flickering) .
Always makesurethattheiPod isconnected
properly .
. AniPod nano (1stGeneration) mayremain infast
forward orrewind modeifit is connected duringa
seek operation. Inthis case, please manually reset
the iPod.
. AniPod nano (2ndGeneration) willcontinue to
fast-forward orrewind ifit is disconnected during
a seek operation.
. Anincorrect songtitlemay appear whenthePlay
Mode ischanged whileusing aniPod nano (2nd
Generation)
. Audiobooks maynotplay inthe same orderas
they appear onaniPo d.
. Large videofilescause slowresponses inan iPod.
The vehicle centerdisplay maymomentarily black
out, butwillsoon recover.

T o change theSpeed Sensitive Volume (Speed
Sens Vol.) level fromoff(0) to5,turn the
TUNE´FOLDER controlknob. .
AUX Vol.
Controls thevolume levelofincoming soundwhen
an auxiliary deviceisconnected tothe system.
Choose asetting between 1and 3or choose 0to
disable thefeature entirely.
. Brightness andContrast
Adjust thebrightness andcontrast ofthe screen.
Select theªbrightnessº orªcontrastº usingthe
TUNE´FOLDER controlknobandthen push the
