The hazard indicator flasherswitchoperates regard-
less ofthe ignition switchposition exceptwhenthe
battery isdischarged.
The hazard indicator flasherisused towarn other
drivers whenyouhave tostop orpark under
emergency conditions.
When thehazard indicator flasherswitchispushed, all
turn signal lightswillflash. To turn offthe hazard
indicator flasher,pushthehazard indicator flasher
switch again.
When animpact thatcould activate thesupplemental
air bags isdetected, thehazard warning flasherlights
blink automatically .If the hazard warning flasherswitch
is pushed, thehazard warning flasherswillturn off.
WARNING:
Do not turn thehazard warning flasherswitchto
off until youcanmake surethatitis safe todo
so. Also, thehazard flasher warning maynot
blink automatically dependingonthe force of
impact.

WARNING:
. Ifthe low tirepressure warninglightillumi-
nates whiledriving, avoidsudden steering
maneuvers orabrupt braking, reducevehicle
speed, pulloffthe road toasafe location
and stop thevehicle assoon aspossible.
Driving withunder-inflated tiresmayperma-
nently damage thetires andincrease the
likelihood oftire failure. Serious vehicle
damage couldoccurandmay lead toan
accident andcould result inserious personal
injury. Check thetire pressure forallfour
tires. Adjust thetire pressure tothe recom-
mended COLDtirepressure shownonthe
tire placard toturn thelow tirepressure
warning lightoff.Ifthe light stillilluminates
while driving afteradjusting thetire pres-
sure, atire may beflat. Ifyou have aflat tire,
replace itwith aspare tire(ifequipped) as
soon aspossible.
. When aspare tireismounted orawheel is
replaced, theTPMS willnotfunction andthe
low tirepressure warninglightwillflash for
approximately 1minute. Thelight willre-
main onafter the1minute. Contact a
NISSAN dealerassoon aspossible fortire
replacement and/orsystem resetting.
. Replacing tireswiththose notoriginally
specified byNISSAN couldaffect theproper
operation ofthe TPMS.
The Tire Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS) monitors
tire pressure ofall tires except thespare. Whenthelow tire
pressure warninglightislit, one ormore ofyour
tires issignificantly under-inflated. Ifthe vehicle is
being driven withlowtirepressure, theTPMS will
activate andwarn youofitby the low tirepressure
warning light(inthe meter panel).This system will
activate onlywhen thevehicle isdriven atspeeds
above 25km/h (16MPH) .

1. Safely movethevehicle offthe road away from
traffic.
2. Turn onthe hazard indicator flasherlights.
3. Park onalevel surface.
4. Apply theparking brake.
5. Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)model:
Move theshift lever tothe ªPº (Park) position.
Manual Transmission (MT)model: Movetheshift
lever tothe ªRº (Reverse) position.
