CD CHANGER
This is located in the centre of the fascia under the radio. It holds up to 5 discs.
To load the changer, insert the discs with the printed side upwards.
To remove a disc, press and hold the corresponding button "1"to "5" .
The use of copied compact discs may cause faults.
Insert circular compact discs only.In the cabriolet position, remember to remove the compact discs from your changer (risk of theft).

The most recent destinations are shown. There are three possible methods of defining the location to which youwish to travel:
Ð accept the last details input by
means of the "OK"function,
Ð input the details of your destina- tion,
Ð automatically input the details of your current location by means of the "Current location" function.
GPS details
The last address entered is dis- played. There are three options for defining the location in which you wish toobtain this service:
Ð accept the last address entered
using the "OK"function,
Ð fill in the "Town"and "Street" zones,Ð automatically enter the name of
your current location using the "Current location" function.
Selecting a service If you wish to be directed to a ser- vice, select the
categorycorre-
sponding to the service, then confirmby pressing the dial. The list of services corresponding to the category selected is displayed. Select the servicethen confirm by
pressing the dial to access the "Place choice" function.
An indication on the edge of the screen (x/n) shows you the maxi-mum number of establishments pro-viding the same service within aradius of 30 miles (50 km), as thecrow flies, from the selected location. Use buttons "<"and ">" to consult
the list provided.When the establishment of your choice is displayed, you can:
¥ select the "OK"function to acti-
vate guidance towards this service,
¥ select the "Archive"function to enter
this establishment in your directory.
Note: if the service selected is not
available in the programmed loca- tion, a temporary message informsyou of this. Following validation of the location, the service closest to it is displayed.The distance indicated is the dis-tance as the crow flies from the ser-vice to the selected location.

The menu
''Guidance options''
provides access to the following functions:
Ð changing of the route calculation criteria,
Ð voice synthesis adjustment of gui- dance messages,
Ð description of the information rela- ting to the navigation CD-Rom,
Ð management of the addresses stored in the directory.
Guidance optionsThe last criterion used is displayed. Select a criterion from the list, then validate by pressing the dial. When the criterion of your choice has been selected, select the
"OK"
function then confirm by pressing thedial. Adjusting the voice synthesiser Select the type of voice "male" or
"female" , after inserting the configu-
ration CD-Rom. Adjust the volume of the voice syn- thesis by turning the dial, then vali-date by pressing the dial. Note: the volume can also be adjust-
ed during a message, using the audio/telephone button or the steer-ing wheel control. Management of the directory This function enables you to rename
an address stored in the directory. Select the description corresponding to the stored address to be changed. Select the
"Rename" function, then
confirm by pressing the dial. Select the "OK" function, then con-
firm by pressing the dial to record the changes made. Stopping/Resuming guidance
¥ "Stop guidance" During guidance, select this function then validate.
¥ "Resume guidance" In the absence of guidance, select this function then validate to activateguidance to the last destination pro-grammed. Note: after re-starting the engine, a
screen appears enabling you to resume guidance activated before
the ignition was switched off.

5. Air distribution
Successive presses of this button allow the air flow tobe directed alternately to:
Ð the windscreen (demisting or de-icing),
Ð the windscreen and the footwells,
Ð the footwells,
Ð the central and side vents and the footwells,
Ð the central and side vents.
7. Air intake
Press this button to recycle
the interior air. Recirculation,
shown on the display, pre-ventsthe entry of unpleasant
odours and fumes from the outside.
Avoid prolonged recirculation of the
interior air. To do this, press again toreturn the system to automatic pro-cessing of the air intake. Note: To prevent condensation on
the inside of the vehicle in cold or
wet weather, you are advised toavoid using this mode.
4. Air conditioning
Press this button to stop
cooling of the air. The"ECO"symbol lights up.
Press again to return to
automatic operation of the air condi-tioning. The "A/C"symbol is dis-
played. 8. Switching the system off
The
OFF button enables the
entire system to be switched off.
Temperature-related com-fort is no longer guaranteed
but a minimal flow of air is main-tained to prevent misting and to
renew the air. Pressing the OFF, AUTO or "visibility"
button again reactivates the system with the values set before it was
switched off.
Note: if you wish to cut off the flow of air
completely, press the air intake button 7.
9. De-icing the rear window and
the mirrors
Press this button to de-icethe rear screen and the mir-
rors. The de-icing system
switches off automatically.
It is possible to stop the de-icing
before it switches off automaticallyby pressing the button again. Note: this function is disarmed when
the roof is stored in the boot. Important precaution Operate the air conditioning system for 5 to 10 minutes, once or twice amonth, to keep it in perfect working
order. If the system does not produce cold
air, do not use it and contact your
PEUGEOT dealer.
Manual operation
If you wish you can make a different
choice from the one offered by the
system, by changing a setting. Theother functions will still be managed
automatically. Press the
AUTObut-
ton to return to completely automaticoperation.
6. Air flowThe air flow may beincreased or reducedby pressing the buttons+or Ðrespectively.
Notes The condensation created by the air conditioning causes a normal flow ofwater under the vehicle when sta-
tionary.
To prevent condensation on the inside of the vehicle in cold or wet
weather, you are advised to avoidusing the "ECO"mode.

The ISOFIX KIDDY child seat* It can be fitted in the "rear facing" position from birth to 13 kg and in the"forwards facing" position from 9 to18 kg.
In the rear, in the "forwards facing" position, it is imperative that the frontseat is in the mid-way position on the
runner, seat back upright. In the "rear facing" position, the body of the child seat must be in contactwith the back of the correspondingfront seat.The ISOFIX R…MER Duo child seat* This seat must only be fitted in the "forwards facing" position for chil-dren weighing between 9 and 18 kg.It is secured without the upper strap
called the Top Tether. For your child's comfort, three seat body angles are possible: upright,reclining and flat. When the Ršmer Duo is installed in
the rear, the vehicle's front seat mustbe adjusted so that the child's feet donot touch the back of the front seat.These seats can also be used onseats not fitted with ISOFIX mount-ings. In this case it is compulsory toattach them to the vehicle's seat bymeans of the three-point seat belt. Refer to the "Summary table for fitting child seats". Follow the instructions for fitting the child seat in the seat manufac-turer's instruction booklet.
* You can only fit ISOFIX child seats
approved by PEUGEOT on your vehicle's ISOFIX mountings.

Ð to lock, insert the key in the lock
(located on the edge of the door) then turn an eighth of a turn to
the left.
Ð to unlock, use the interior door opening control (see correspond-ing section).
Boot
The boot is locked, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.

Closing the roof: 
Carry out the preparatory operations, indicated on the previous page.
 Then, press button 3until the roof closing operation is
complete, confirmed by an audible signal.
When carrying out this manoeuvre, the four windows
lower, the boot opens, the moving shelf and the roof unfoldand position themselves, the hinged covers fold, then theboot closes. Note: if you continue to press button 3once the cycle is
complete, the four windows rise again. The control buttons for the windows become operational again at the end of the roof operation. In the case of an electric or hydraulic malfunction of the
roof, it is possible to close the roof manually. Please consult the breakdown procedure described at the end of this handbook.
During roof opening and closing operations, to
avoid any risk of injury, ensure that there is no-one in the proximity of the moving parts.
Operation of the roof is the sole responsibility of
the driver.
To guarantee correct operation, do not release but-ton 3 when the roof is in an intermediate position
(neither completely open or closed). However, in the
event of danger, release the control knob and the
operation will stop instantly. Once the danger hasbeen eliminated, complete the operation.

ELECTRIC WINDOWS
1 - Driver's electric window
switch.
2 - Passenger's electric window switch.
3 - Rear right electric window switch.
4 - Rear left electric window switch.
5 - Disarming of the rear electric window switches (child lock). Front windows safety auto-reverse When the window rises and meets an obstacle, it stops and partiallylowers again. Note: In the event of unwanted opening of the window on closing (for examplein the presence of frost), press the
switch until it opens completely, thenpull it immediately until it closes.Continue to hold the switch forapproximately one second after thewindow has closed. The safety auto-reverse function is not active during these operations. Disarming the rear window controls For the safety of your children, press switch
5to prevent operation of the
rear windows irrespective of theirposition. When the button is raised, the controls are disarmed. When thebutton is lowered, the controls areactive.
You have two options: Manual operation:
Press or pull the switch gently. The window stops as soon as the switchis released. Automatic operation: Press or pull the switch fully: the window opens or closes completelywhen the switch is released.Pressing the switch again stops the
movement of the window. Note: when one of the doors is
opened or approximately 45 sec- onds following removal of the igni-
tion key, none of the windows can be
opened or closed. The ignition mustbe switched on again to permitopening or closing of the windows.

EXTERIOR MIRRORS Electric rear view mirrors
Ð Slide switch Ato the right or to the
left to select the corresponding
mirror.
Ð Move knob Bin all four directions
to adjust.
Ð Return switch Ato the centre
position.
When parked, the mirrors can be folded back electrically by pullingknob Arearwards or automatically
when locking the vehicle.
The exterior mirrors are unfolded by switching on the ignition to the sec-ond notch or to the ON position.
Note: the function that controls fold-
ing of the mirrors when locking thevehicle can be disarmed. Contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.SIMULTANEOUS CONTROL
OF ALL 4 WINDOWS Control 6opens or closes all of the
windows simultaneously.
To disarm the action of control 6on
the rear windows, press the rear win- dows disarming control 5.
Operation of the simulta- neous control of all fourwindows is the sole
responsibility of the driver.
Always remove the key from the ignition whenleaving the vehicle, evenfor a short time.
In the event of contact duringoperation of the windows, youmust reverse the movement of the
window. To do this, press theswitch concerned. When the driver operates the pas- senger electric window switches,he must ensure that no one is preventing correct closing of thewindows. The driver must ensure that the passengers use the electric
windows correctly. Be aware of children when opera- ting the windows.
REINITIALISING THE ELECTRIC WINDOWS Following reconnection of the battery or in the event of a malfunction,release the switch and pull it again
until it closes completely. Hold theswitch for approximately one secondafter closing. The safety auto-reverse function is not active during these operations.

ving, allow the engine to return to idle before engaging function Dto accelerate.
D rive: for drivingin automatic mode.
M anual: for drivingin manual mode. Moving off
With the engine running, to move off from position
P:
 it is essential to press the
brake pedal to exit position P,
 select function R, D or M, then
gradually release the pressureon the brake pedal; the vehicle
moves off immediately.
You can also move off from positionN :
 release the handbrake, with yourfoot on the brake,
 select function R, D or M, then
gradually release the pressureon the brake pedal; the vehicle
moves off immediately.
WARNING When the engine is at idle, brakes not applied, if function R, D or Mis
selected the vehicle moves evenwithout the accelerator beingpressed. For this reason, do not leave chil-
dren unsupervised inside the vehicle, with the engine running .
When maintenance operations needto be carried out with the engine run-ning, apply the handbrake and selectposition P.
"PORSCHE TIPTRONIC SYSTEM" AUTOMATIC GEARBOX The four speed automaticgearbox offers a choice between the comfort of inte-
gral automatic operation , enhanced by a sportand a snow programme, or the
pleasure of manual gear changing .
Gear selection gate  Move the lever in the gate to select a function. Once the function is selected, the corresponding indicator light appears on
the instrument panel display.
