ParkSense Sensors
The four ParkSense sensors, located in the rear fascia/
bumper, monitor the area behind the vehicle that is
within the sensors’ field of view. The sensors can detect
obstacles from approximately 18 in (45 cm) up to 79 in
(200 cm) from the rear fascia/bumper in the horizontal
direction, depending on the location, type and orienta-
tion of the obstacle.
The six ParkSense sensors, located in the front fascia/
bumper, monitor the area in front of the vehicle that is
within the sensors’ field of view. The sensors can detect
obstacles from approximately 12 in (30 cm) up to 47 in
(120 cm) from the front fascia/bumper in the horizontal
direction, depending on the location, type and orienta-
tion of the obstacle.
ParkSense Warning Display
The ParkSense Warning screen is located within the
Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) or Driver
Information Display (DID). It provides visual warnings
to indicate the distance between the rear fascia/bumper
and/or front fascia/bumper and the detected obstacle.
Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) or
Driver Information Display (DID) Settings” in Under-
standing Your Instrument Panel” for further information.
The ParkSense Warning screen will only be displayed if
Sound and Display is selected.
NOTE:If your vehicle is equipped with a touchscreen,
this feature can be programmed through the Uconnect
system. Refer to “Uconnect Settings” in “Understanding
Your Instrument Panel” for further information.

Front Park Assist Audible Alerts
ParkSense will turn off the Front Park Assist audible alert
(chime) after approximately three seconds when an ob-
stacle has been detected, the vehicle is stationary, and
brake pedal is applied.
Adjustable Chime Volume Settings
The Front and Rear chime volume settings are program-
mable.
•If your vehicle is equipped with a touchscreen, the
settings may be programmed through the Uconnect
System. Refer to “Uconnect Settings ” in “Understand-
ing Your Instrument Panel” for further information.
•If your vehicle is not equipped with a touchscreen, the
settings may be programmed through the ElectronicVehicle Information Center (EVIC) or Driver Informa-
tion Display (DID). Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Infor-
mation Center (EVIC)” or “Driver Information Display
(DID)” in “Understanding Your Instrument Panel” for
further information.
Enabling And Disabling Front And/Or Rear
ParkSense
Front ParkSense can be enabled and disabled with the
Front ParkSense switch.
Rear ParkSense can be enabled and disabled with the
Rear ParkSense switch.
When the Front or Rear ParkSense switch is
pushed to disable the system, the Electronic
Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) or Driver
Information Display (DID) will display the
“PARKSENSE OFF” message for approximately five sec-
onds. Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Information Center

could detect the ball mount and hitch ball assem-
bly, depending on its size and shape, giving a false
indication that an obstacle is behind the vehicle.
PARKVIEW REAR BACK UP CAMERA — IF
EQUIPPED
Your vehicle may be equipped with the ParkView Rear
Back Up Camera that allows you to see a image of the
rear surroundings of your vehicle whenever the shift
lever is put into REVERSE or whenever it is initiated
throughBackup Camerabutton in theControlsmenu.
Whenever the shift lever is put into REVERSE, the image
will be displayed in the rearview mirror display (if
equipped) or Uconnect screen (if equipped) along with a
caution note to “check entire surroundings” across the
top of the screen. After five seconds this note will
disappear.The ParkView camera is located to the left of the tailgate
handle.
When the vehicle is shifted out of REVERSE (with camera
delay turned OFF), the rear camera mode is exited and
the navigation or audio screen appears again.
When the vehicle is shifted out of REVERSE (with camera
delay turned ON), The rear camera image will be dis-
played for up to 10 seconds after shifting out ofRE-
VERSEunless the forward vehicle speed exceeds 8 mph
(13 km/h), the transmission is shifted intoPARKor the
ignition is switched to the OFF position.
Whenever the Rear View Camera image is activated
throughBackup Camerabutton in theControlsmenu,
a display timer for the image is initiated. The image will
continue to be displayed until the display timer exceeds
10 seconds and the vehicle speed is above 8 mph (13
km/h) or the touchscreen buttonXto disable display of
the Rear View camera image is pressed.

NOTE:If the vehicle speed remains below 8 mph
(13 km/h), the Rear View camera image will be displayed
continuously until deactivated via. the touchscreen but-
tonX.
If equipped with a Cargo Camera, a touchscreen button
to indicate the current active Camera image being
displayed is made available whenever the Rear View
camera image is displayed.
If equipped with a Cargo Camera, a touchscreen button
to switch the display to Cargo camera image is
made available whenever the Rear View Camera im-
age is displayed.
A touchscreen buttonXto disable display of the camera
image is made available when the vehicle is not in
REVERSE gear.
When enabled, active guide lines are overlaid on the
image to illustrate the width of the vehicle and itsprojected backup path based on the steering wheel
position. The active guide lines will show separate zones
that will help indicate the distance to the rear of the
vehicle.
NOTE:For further information about how to access and
change the programmable features of the ParkView Rear
Backup Camera, refer to “Uconnect Settings” in “Under-
standing Your Instrument Panel” for further information.
The following table shows the approximate distances for
each zone:

CAUTION!
•To avoid vehicle damage, ParkView should only be
used as a parking aid. The ParkView camera is
unable to view every obstacle or object in your
drive path.
•To avoid vehicle damage, the vehicle must be
driven slowly when using ParkView to be able to
stop in time when an obstacle is seen. It is recom-
mended that the driver look frequently over his/her
shoulder when using ParkView.
WARNING!
Drivers must be careful when backing up even when
using the ParkView Rear Back Up Camera. Always
check carefully behind your vehicle, and be sure to

check for pedestrians, animals, other vehicles, ob-
structions, or blind spots before backing up. You are
responsible for the safety of your surroundings and
must continue to pay attention while backing up.
Failure to do so can result in serious injury or death.
NOTE:If snow, ice, mud, or any foreign substance builds
up on the camera lens, clean the lens, rinse with water,
and dry with a soft cloth. Do not cover the lens.
Turning Rear View Camera image On:
1. Press theControlsbutton located on the bottom of
the Uconnect display.
2. Press theBackup Camerabutton
to turn the Rear
View Camera system ON.

Ignition Off Operation
The power sunroof switch will remain active for up to
approximately ten minutes after the ignition switch is
turned to the LOCK position. Opening either front door
will cancel this feature.
NOTE:Ignition Off time is programmable through the
Uconnect System. Refer to “Uconnect Settings/Customer
Programmable Features” in “Understanding Your Instru-
ment Panel” for further information.
ELECTRICAL POWER OUTLETS
The auxiliary 12 Volt (13 Amp) power outlets can provide
power for in-cab accessories designed for use with the
standard “cigar lighter” plug. The 12 Volt power outlets
and USB Port (Charge Only) have a cap attached to the
outlet indicating “12V DC,” together with either a key
symbol, battery symbol, or USB symbol.
A key symbol indicates that the key must be in the
ON/RUN or ACC positions for the outlet to provide
power. The battery symbol indicates that the outlet is
connected to the battery, and can provide power at all
times.
NOTE:To ensure proper operation, a MOPAR knob and
element must be used.

housings. Place wooden boards across the box from side
to side to create separate load compartments in the
pickup box.
There are four tie-down cleats bolted to the lower sides of
the pickup box that can sustain loads up to 1000 lbs
(450 kg) total.
Cargo Camera — If Equipped
Your vehicle may be equipped with the Cargo Camera
that allows you to see an image of the inside of the
pickup box. The image will be displayed in the Uconnect
screen.
A display timer is initiated when the cargo camera image
is displayed. The image will continue to be displayed
until the display timer exceeds 10 seconds and the vehicle
speed is above 8 mph (13 km/h) or the touchscreen
buttonXto disable display of the Cargo Camera image
is pressed.NOTE:If the vehicle speed remains below 8 mph
(13 km/h), the cargo camera image will be displayed
continuously until the touchscreen buttonXto disable
display of the Cargo Camera image is pressed.
The Cargo Camera is located in the bottom center area of
the center high-mounted stoplamp (CHMSL).
A touchscreen button

Turning Cargo Camera On Or Off — With
Uconnect 8.4A/8.4AN
1. Press the “Controls” button located on the bottom of
the Uconnect display.
2. Press the “Cargo Camera” button
to turn the
Cargo Camera system ON.
NOTE:Once initiated by theCargo Camerabutton, the
Cargo Camera image may be deactivated by pressing the
Xsoft button. On deactivation, the previous selected
screen will appear.
RAMBOX — IF EQUIPPED
The RamBox system is an integrated pickup box storage
and cargo management system consisting of three fea-
tures:
•Integrated box side storage bins
•Cargo extender/divider
•Bed rail tie-down system
RamBox Integrated Box Side Storage Bins
Cargo storage bins are located on both sides of the pickup
box. The cargo storage bins provide watertight, lockable,
illuminated storage for up to 150 lbs (68 kg) for 1500
series vehicles or 300 lbs (136 kg) for 2500 and 3500 series
vehicles of evenly distributed cargo.
