In the blue notice area, we tell you about something that can damage your
vehicle. Many times, this damage would not be covered by your warranty, and

This light with the SHIFT symbol is on the instrument cluster of some vehicles
with manual transmissions. The
SHIFT indicator light will help you get the
best fuel economy. See “Shift Indicator Light” in this section.
Headlight High Beam Indicator Light

This light with the blue high beam symbol is on the instrumen\
t cluster. The
high beam indicator is on whenever you use your high beam headlights. For
more details about high beams, see “Headlight High-Low Beam \
Changer” in
this section.

ORANGE indicates road construction or maintenance. You’ll want\
to slow
down when you see an orange sign, as part
of the road may be closed off
or torn up, And there may be workers and maintenance vehicles \
around, too.
GREEN is used to guide the driver. Green signs may indicate upcoming
freeway exits or show the direction you should turn to reach \
a particular place.
