KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEMF
The Keyless Access System enables operation of the doors and liftgate wi\
thout removing the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter from a pocket or purse. The transmi\
tter must be within 3 feet of the door being unlocked or within 3 feet of the liftgat\
e.
KEYLESS UNLOCKING
With the transmitter within range:
Press the button on the driver’s door handle to unlock the driver’s door; press it again within 5 seconds to unlock all doors and the liftgate.
Press the button on the passenger’s door handle to unlock all doors and the liftgate.
Pull the handle above the license plate to open the liftgate.
KEYLESS LOCKING
With the ignition off, the transmitter out of the vehicle, and all doors\
closed:
Press the button on any door handle to lock all doors and the liftgate i\
mmediately.
If Passive Locking is turned on in the Settings menu, all doors and the \
liftgate will lock automatically after a short delay once all doors and the liftgate are cl\
osed.
Note: To change the door lock settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.

Unlock
Press to unlock the driver’s door and fuel door. Press again to unlock all doors and
liftgate.
Lock
Press to lock all doors and liftgate.
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm
Press and release to locate your vehicle. The turn
signal lamps will flash and the horn will sound.
Press and hold to activate the alarm.
Note: To change the remote lock and unlock settings, go to Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.

KEYLESS (PUSHBUTTON) STARTF
The Remote Keyless Entry transmitter must be in the vehicle to turn on t\
he ignition.
STARTING THE ENGINE
With the transmission in Park or Neutral, press the brake pedal (automatic trans-mission) or the clutch pedal (manual transmission) and then press the ENGINE START/STOP button. The green button indicator will illuminate.
Note: If the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter battery is weak, place the transmitter in the pocket in the center console storage area to enable the engine to start. Replace the transmitter battery as soon as possible.
STOPPING THE ENGINE/OFF
Shift to Park (automatic transmission only) and press the ENGINE START/STOP button.
ACCESSORY MODE
With the engine off and the brake pedal (automatic transmission) or cl\
utch pedal (manual transmission) not depressed, press the ENGINE START/STOP button to place the vehicle in accessory mode. The amber button indicator will illuminat\

KEYED IGNITION SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
STARTING THE VEHICLE
With the vehicle in Park or Neutral, rotate the key clockwise to the Start position.
TURNING OFF THE VEHICLE
Shift to Park (automatic transmission) or Neutral (manual transmission).
Push the key all the way in (1) and then rotate the key counter-clockwise to the Lock/Off position (2).

STEERING WHEEL AND SEAT ADJUSTMENTS
STEERING WHEEL AND DRIVER’S SEAT
A. Steering Wheel Adjustment
Pull down the lever to unlock the wheel and adjust its position. Lift the lever up securely to lock the wheel.
B. Seat Fore/Aft Adjustment
Lift the handle under the front of the seat to slide the seat forward or rearward.
C. Seat Height Adjustment
Ratchet the side lever up or down repeatedly to raise or lower the seat.
D. Seatback Recline Adjustment
Lift the rear lever to recline or raise the seatback.
FOLDING REAR SEATS
1. Unbuckle the seat belts.
2. Press the button (A) on each post to remove the rear head restraints.
3. Slide the front seats forward.
4. Pull up the front of the rear seat
cushion. Rotate the cushion up and forward.
5. Pull up the release knob (B) on top of the seatback. The red mark-ing is visible when the seatback is unlatched.
6. Fold down the seatback.
7. Before unfolding the seat, place the seat belt in the retainer clip (C) so it doesn’t cross the locking mechanism.

1. Unlock the vehicle to unlock the fuel door.
2. Pull up the fuel door release handle on the floor near the driver’s seat.
3. The fuel door will pop open. Pull the door open to refuel the vehicle.

The Oil Life System calculates oil life based on vehicle use and display\
s a Change Engine Oil message on the Driver Information Center when it’s necessary to c\
hange the engine oil and filter. The system should be reset to 100% only following an o\
il change.

The Low Tire Pressure warning light on the instrument cluster illuminates wh\
en one or more of the vehicle’s tires is significantly underinflated. Fi\
ll the tires to the proper tire pressures listed on the Tire and Loading Information label, located belo\
w the driver’s door latch. Current tire pressures can be viewed on the Driver Informati\
on Center (DIC).

Recreational towing means towing the vehicle behind another vehicle. Veh\
icles with an automatic transmission should be towed from the front with the two rear \
wheels on the ground and the two front wheels on a dolly. Vehicles with a manual trans\
mission can be towed from the front with all four wheels on the ground (dinghy towing)\
or with the two rear wheels on the ground and the two front wheels on a dolly. Refer to \
your Owner’s Manual for the proper towing procedure.

RECREATIONAL TOWING
When stopped on a steep hill, the Hill Start Assist feature prevents the\
vehicle from roll-ing before driving off, whether facing uphill or downhill. During the tr\
ansition between when the driver releases the brake pedal and starts to accelerate, Hill \
Start Assist holds the brake pressure (for up to 2 seconds) to ensure the vehicle doesn’\
t roll.
