3. C o n n e c t t h e b o t t l e 1 to the valve of
t h e t y r e t o b e r e p a i r e d .
4. T a k e c a r e t o u n w i n d t h e
c o m p r e s s o r p i p e b e f o r e c o n n e c t i n g
it to the bottle.
5. C o n n e c t t h e p o w e r l e a d t o o n e o f
t h e v e h i c l e ' s 1 2 V s o c k e t s .
6. S w i t c h o n t h e c o m p r e s s o r b y
p r e s s i n g b u t t o n A until the tyre
p r e s s u r e r e a c h e s 2 . 0 b a r s . I f t h i s
p r e s s u r e c a n n o t b e r e a c h e d , t h e
t y r e c a n n o t b e r e p a i r e d .
7. R e m o v e a n d s t o r e t h e c o m p r e s s o r .
8. Drive immediately, for a few miles
( k i l o m e t r e s ) , a t r e d u c e d s p e e d , t o
fi l l t h e p u n c t u r e .
9. A d j u s t t h e p r e s s u r e u s i n g t h e
c o m p r e s s o r i n a c c o r d a n c e w i t h t h e
recommendation for the vehicle and
c h e c k t h a t t h e l e a k i s fi l l e d c o r r e c t l y
( n o f u r t h e r l o s s o f p r e s s u r e ) .
10. D r i v e a t r e d u c e d s p e e d ( 5 0 m p h
[ 8 0 k m / h ] ) . T h e t y r e m u s t b e
e x a m i n e d a n d r e p a i r e d b y a
p r o f e s s i o n a l a s s o o n a s p o s s i b l e . After use, the bottle can be stored in
a p l a s t i c b a g , s u p p l i e d i n t h e k i t , t o
avoid staining your vehicle with traces
o f fl u i d .
Warning: the bottle of gel contains
e t h y l e n e - g l y c o l , a p r o d u c t w h i c h
is harmful if swallowed and which
causes irritation to the eyes.

1. PARKING THE VEHICLE

and wait in a safe location.

ground.
- A p p l y t h e p a r k i n g b r a k e , s w i t c h o f f t h e i g n i t i o n a n d e n g a g e fi r s t o r
reverse gear. - I f a v a i l a b l e , p l a c e a c h o c k u n d e r
t h e w h e e l d i a g o n a l l y o p p o s i t e t h e
one to be changed.
I f t h e v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a t o w b a r ,
it is sometimes necessary to raise
t h e v e h i c l e s l i g h t l y t o m a k e i t e a s i e r
t o r e m o v e t h e s p a r e w h e e l f r o m i t s
carrier.

2. TOOLS
- T h e t o o l s a r e s t o w e d i n a s t o r a g e c o m p a r t m e n t l o c a t e d u n d e r t h e
front seat. If necessary, move the
seat forward to access the storage
c o m p a r t m e n t f r o m t h e r e a r .
- U n s c r e w t h e n u t t h e n t a k e o u t t h e j a c k a n d t h e w h e e l b r a c e .
1. Wheelbrace.
2. J a c k .
3. Alloy wheel embellisher remover.
4. C h o c k .

3. SPARE WHEEL - Unscrew the bolt using the wheelbrace until the carrier is
lowered fully.
- O p e n t h e r e a r d o o r s t o g a i n a c c e s s
t o t h e s p a r e w h e e l . - D e t a c h t h e c a r r i e r f r o m t h e h o o k
a n d p l a c e t h e s p a r e w h e e l n e a r t h e
wheel to be changed.

4. OPERATING PROCEDURE - P l a c e t h e j a c k i n c o n t a c t w i t h t h e l o c a t i n g p o i n t p r o v i d e d , t h e o n e
which is closest to the wheel to be
c h a n g e d . E n s u r e t h a t t h e j a c k i s
s t r a i g h t a n d t h a t t h e b a s e o f t h e j a c k
is fully in contact with the ground.
- E x t e n d t h e j a c k t o l i f t t h e w h e e l clear of the ground.
- R e s u m e a n d c o m p l e t e t h e unscrewing of the wheel bolts.
- R e m o v e t h e b o l t s a n d r e m o v e t h e wheel.
D o n o t e x t e n d t h e j a c k u n t i l y o u h a v e
started unscrewing the bolts on the
w h e e l t o b e c h a n g e d a n d h a v e p l a c e d
t h e c h o c k u n d e r t h e w h e e l d i a g o n a l l y
o p p o s i t e .
- R e m o v e t h e t r i m p u l l i n g i t u s i n g t h e
embellisher remover.
- Loosen the wheel bolts and start unscrewing them. Security bolts
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a l l o y
wheels:
- Each wheel has a security bolt.
- T h e s e b o l t s c a n b e l o o s e n e d u s i n g
y o u r s e c u r i t y s o c k e t ( g i v e n t o y o u
on handover of your vehicle) and
the wheelbrace.

- T i g h t e n t h e b o l t s a g a i n u s i n g t h e wheelbrace, tighten them fully
without forcing them.
- P l a c e t h e w h e e l t o b e r e p a i r e d i n the carrier. - S e c u r e t h e c a r r i e r o n t h e h o o k t h e n
raise the carrier using the bolt and
the wheelbrace.
Never go underneath a vehicle
t h a t i s s u p p o r t e d o n l y b y a
j a c k ( u s e a r a m p ) . N e v e r u s e
a s c r e w d r i v e r i n p l a c e o f t h e
wheelbrace .
5. FITTING THE SPARE WHEEL
- Position the wheel on the hub and
start tightening the bolts by hand.
- C a r r y o u t a n i n i t i a l t i g h t e n i n g o f t h e bolts using the wheelbrace.

C I T R O Ë N d e a l e r a s s o o n a s p o s s i b l e .
A l s o , h a v e t h e o r i g i n a l w h e e l r e p a i r e d
a n d r e fi t t e d b y a C I T R O Ë N d e a l e r a s
s o o n a s p o s s i b l e . R e f e r t o t h e " I d e n t i fi c a t i o n
m a r k i n g s " s e c t i o n o f c h a p t e r 8 t o
locate the tyre label.
According to country, the removable
snow screen is installed on the lower
p a r t o f t h e f r o n t b u m p e r t o p r e v e n t t h e
accumulation of snow at the radiator
cooling fan.
FITTING
REMOVAL
- Pass a screwdriver into the hole

r e a c h b e h i n d t h e h e a d l a m p u n i t .
C a r r y o u t t h e o p e r a t i o n s i n r e v e r s e
o r d e r t o r e fi t e a c h b u l b a n d c h e c k t h a t
the bonnet is closed securely.
Type C
Halogen bulb: release the
r e t a i n i n g s p r i n g f r o m i t s
housing.
Type B
B a y o n e t b u l b : p r e s s
on the bulb then turn it
a n t i c l o c k w i s e .
Halogen bulbs must be changed
w i t h t h e h e a d l a m p o f f . W a i t a f e w
m i n u t e s ( r i s k o f s e r i o u s b u r n s ) .
Do not touch the bulb directly with your
fi n g e r s , u s e l i n t - f r e e c l o t h s .
It is normal for condensation to form
i n s i d e t h e h e a d l a m p s . R e g u l a r u s e o f
the vehicle eliminates this misting. T h e b u l b s m u s t b e c h a n g e d w i t h
the ignition off or with the battery
d i s c o n n e c t e d . W a i t a p p r o x i m a t e l y
3 minutes after changing the bulb
before reconnecting the battery.
C h e c k t h a t t h e l i g h t s o p e r a t e c o r r e c t l y
a f t e r e a c h o p e r a t i o n .
W h e n u s i n g t h i s t y p e o f w a s h i n g
o n s t u b b o r n d i r t , d o n o t p e r s i s t
o n t h e h e a d l a m p s , t h e l i g h t s a n d
their surround to avoid damaging their
coating and their seal.

- E n s u r e t h a t t h e c o v e r i s r e fi t t e d c o r r e c t l y o v e r i t s e n t i r e p e r i p h e r y
to guarantee sealing.

- R e m o v e t h e c e n t r e c o v e r b y p u l l i n g t h e fl e x i b l e r u b b e r t a b .
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- R e l e a s e t h e r e t a i n i n g t a b .
- C h a n g e t h e b u l b t a k i n g c a r e t o a l i g n t h e m e t a l p a r t w i t h t h e
grooves on the light.
- R e p o s i t i o n t h e r e t a i n i n g t a b .
- E n s u r e t h a t t h e c o v e r i s r e fi t t e d c o r r e c t l y o v e r i t s e n t i r e p e r i p h e r y
to guarantee sealing.

- M o v e t h e m u d g u a r d u p w a r d s .
- U n c l i p t h e f o g l a m p b y s q u e e z i n g t h e c l i p t o r e l e a s e i t .

R e m o v e t h e f o g l a m p f r o m t h e o u t s i d e . - T u r n t h e y e l l o w c o v e r a 1 / 4 t u r n t o o p e n . - S e p a r a t e t h e c l i p s w h i c h s e c u r e the base of bulb on each side to
release the bulb.
- R e m o v e t h e b u l b b y p u l l i n g , k e e p i n g i t s t r a i g h t .
- Insert the new bulb, re-tighten the c l i p s a r o u n d t h e b a s e o f t h e b u l b
a n d c a r r y o u t t h e o p e r a t i o n s i n
r e v e r s e o r d e r t o p u t t h e l i g h t u n i t
a n d t h e b u m p e r b a c k i n p o s i t i o n . SIDE REPEATER

side of the courtesy light.
- Pull the bulb and change it.
