1. Automatic operation
This is the normal operating mode for the system.
A p r e s s o n t h i s b u t t o n , c o n fi r m e d b y " A U T O " on the display, assures automatic control of: T h e a i r fl o w .
The cabin temperature.
The air distribution.Air recirculation.
Air conditioning.
To revert to manual mode, press again on the button.

Manual recalling of one or more functions
One or more functions can be adjusted manually, while still retaining the other functions in automatic mode.
The function display " A U T O " then goes out.
4. Air conditioning
Press the control located on the control panel.
A symbol appears on the display (system active).
To prevent misting inside the vehicle in cold or humid weather, you are advised to use the A U T O mode.
Press on the control on the dashboard to activate or deactivate the production of cold air.
Air conditioning is then obtained from the mixing of hot air with cold air, using the air blower temperature adjustment 3.
5. Air recirculation
By pressing the control, the entry of air from outside is closed off and the symbol appears on the display.
This position is useful for excluding undesirable odours or fumes coming from outside. It should be cancelled as soon as possible in order to permit renewal of air in the cabin and to prevent misting.
For this, press the " A U T O " button or press again on the air recycling button.
6. Air distribution
Press on the button to scroll through the d i s p l a y s o f a i r fl o w t o :
Windscreen.
Central and lateral air vents. Windscreen and passenger footwells.
Windscreen and passenger footwells.
Passenger footwells.
(Air vents closed).
Central and lateral air vents.
Central and lateral air vents and passenger footwells.
Note: In AUTO position the air distribution displayed is that chosen by the system.

8. Demisting - Defrosting
While it is operating, the warning lamp lights and the symbol appears on the display.
This control is for rapid deicing or demisting of the wind-screen and side windows. It automatically triggers the a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g , o p t i m i s i n g a i r fl o w a n d a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n for the continued comfort of the vehicle occupants.
To stop it, press again either on the button 8 or on the button " A U T O ".

In the front passenger's seat position, it is imperative to deactivate the front passenger's airbag if you are installing a "r ear-facing" child seat t h e r e . O t h e r w i s e t h e c h i l d r i s k s b e i n g k i l l e d o r s e r i o u s l y i n j u r e d s h o u l d the airbag deploy.
Front passenger's airbag deactivation
In order to be able to use a rear-facing child seat in the front passenger's seat position, it is imperative to deactivate the passenger's airbag.
For that:With the ignition switched off, insert the key into the switch A.
Turn the key to the " O F F " position, the passenger's airbag is deactivated.
The front passenger's airbag deactivation warning lamp, in th e instrument panel, lights up when you switch on the ignition.
Reactivating the front passenger's airbag
Do not forget to reactivate the function.
For that:With the ignition switched off, insert the key into the switch A.
Turn the key to the " O N " position, the airbag is activated.
The warning lamp in the instrument panel lights up for a f ew seconds when you switch on the ignition.
The airbags only function with the ignition switched on. A slight noise is emitted when they are triggered.Note: the gas released from the airbags may be a mild irritant.

Child seats secured by means of the vehicle seat belt
In conformity with Directive 2003/20, the table tells you to what extent each of the seat positions in your vehicle may take a child seat that is secured by means of the vehicle seat belt and approved as "Universal" as a function of the weight of the child.
Consult "User Precautions", chapter on "Child Safety" at the end of this handbook, in order to ensure that you are installing your child in conditions of maxi-mum safety.

BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONS
For reasons of safety and because they require prolonged attention on the part of the driver, the operations for pairing of the Bluetooth mobile telephone with the Bluetooth system of your audio equipment should only carried out with the vehicle stationary. The ignition must be on.
Activate the telephone's Bluetooth function.
A window is displayed with "Searching...".
Press the MENU button.
In the menu, select: - Bluetooth telephone function - Audio - B l u e t o o t h c o n fi g u r a t i o n - Perform a Bluetooth search
The services offered depend on the network, the SIM card and the compatibility of the Bluetooth equipment used. The pairing can also be initiated from the telepho ne.
A virtual keypad is displayed on the screen: enter a code with at least 4 digits. C o n fi r m b y p r e s s i n g O K .
Select the telephone to be connected from the list . Only one telephone can be connected at a time.
A message is displayed on the screen of the telephone chosen: to accept the pairing, enter t h e s a m e c o d e o n t h e t e l e p h o n e , t h e n c o n fi r m b y p r e s s i n g O K . If pairing fails, the number of attempts is not limited.

RECEIVING A CALL
An incoming call is announced by a ring and a superimposed display on the multifunction screen.
Select the YES tab on the screen u s i n g t h e b u t t o n s a n d c o n fi r m b y p r e s s i n g O K .

From the Bluetooth telephone function Audio menu, select Manage the telephone call then call, call list or directory.
Press the TEL steering wheel control, or press and h o l d O K f o r a c c e s s t o y o u r d i r e c t o r y . Or To dial a number, use your telephone's keypad, with the vehicle stationary.
MAKING A CALL
Initiate the pairing between the telephone and the vehicle. This pairing can be initiated from the vehicle's telephone function menu or via the telephone's keypad. See steps 1 to 10 on the previous pages. During the pairing phase, the vehicle must be stationary with the ignition on.
Select the telephone to be connected from the telephone function menu. The audio system connects to a newly paired telephone automatically.
