MULTIFUNCTION SCREENS
MONOCHROME SCREEN C
Displays on the screen
This displays the following information:
- time,
- date,
- a m b i e n t t e m p e r a t u r e ( t h i s fl a s h e s i f there is a risk of ice),
- status of doors and boot,
- audio sources (radio, CD, USB port, jack socket etc.),
- trip computer (refer to the "Instru- ments and controls" section).
Warning messages (E.g. "Emisions
control system faulty") or information
messages (E.g.: Automatic headlamps
active") may appear temporarily. These
can be cleared by pressing the "ESC"
button. Controls
From your Audio system control panel,
you can:
press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the main menu ,
press the " " or " " buttons to scroll
through the items on the screen,
press the "MODE" button to change
the permanent application (trip com-
puter, audio source...),
press the " " or " " buttons to
change a setting value,
press the "OK" b u t t o n t o c o n fi r m ,
or
press the "ESC" button to abandon
the operation in progress. Main menu
Press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the main menu :
- audio functions,
- the trip computer,
- p e r s o n a l i s a t i o n - c o n fi g u r a t i o n ,
- telephone (hands-free kit).
Press the " " or " " buttons to se-
l e c t t h e m e n u r e q u i r e d , t h e n c o n fi r m
by pressing the "OK" button.
"Audio functions" menu
With the Audio system switched on,
once this menu has been selected you
can activate or deactivate the functions
linked with use of the radio (RDS, REG,
R a d i o T e x t ) , t h e C D ( i n t r o s c a n , s h u f fl e ,
CD repeat) or the MP3 player (USB port/
jack socket).

SUN VISOR
Component which protects against sun-
light from the front or the side.
Version without Zenith windscreen
GLOVE BOX
To open the glove box, raise the
handle.
It houses the front passenger airbag de-
activation switch A .
It gives access to the dashboard fuse-
box (see the "Practical information -
§ Changing a fuse" section).
CENTRE ARMREST
Comfort and storage system for the
driver and front passenger.
Storage
For access to the closed storage
box, lift the lever to open the lid.
For access to the open storage box
below the armrest, lift the complete
armrest towards the rear.
These can be used for portable devices
(mobile phone, MP3 player...) which can
be connected to the USB port/auxiliary
socket or charged from the 12 V socket
in the centre console.

USB PLAYER
The USB port is located in the "AUX"
box on the centre console.
It permits the connection of a portable
device, such as a digital audio player of
the iPod ®
generation 5 and later type or
USB memory stick type.
I t r e a d s t h e a u d i o fi l e f o r m a t s ( m p 3 ,
ogg, wma, wav...) which are transmitted
to your audio equipment and played via
the vehicle's speakers.
Y o u c a n m a n a g e t h e s e fi l e s u s i n g t h e
steering mounted controls or the audio
equipment control panel and display
them on the multifunction screen.
When it is in use, the portable
device charges automatically.

of the "Audio and Telematics" section.
12 V ACCESSORIES SOCKET
To connect a 12 V accessory (max
power: 120 Watts), remove the cover
and connect a suitable adaptor.
AUXILIARY SOCKET
The auxiliary socket is located in the
"AUX" box on the centre console.
It permits the connection of a portable
device, such as a digital audio player of
the iPod ®
type, to listen to your music
fi l e s u s i n g t h e v e h i c l e ' s s p e a k e r s .

It is advisable to set t h e A U D I O f u n c t i o n s ( B a s s , T r e b l e , F r o n t - R e a r B a l a n c e , L e f t - R i g h t B a l a n c e ) t o t h e m i d d l e position, select the Linear musical ambience and set the loudness correction to the "Active" p o s i t i o n i n C D m o d e o r t o t h e " I n a c t i v e " p o s i t i o n in radio mode.

There is a difference in sound quality between the different audio sources (radio, CD...).
C h e c k t h a t t h e a u d i o s e t t i n g s ( V o l u m e , B a s s , Treble, Ambience, Loudness) are adapted to the sources listened to. It is advisable to set t h e A U D I O f u n c t i o n s ( B a s s , T r e b l e , F r o n t - R e a r B a l a n c e , L e f t - R i g h t B a l a n c e ) t o t h e m i d d l e position, select the musical ambience "None" and set the loudness correction to the "Active" position in CD mode or to the "Inactive" position in radio mode.
F o r o p t i m u m s o u n d q u a l i t y , t h e a u d i o s e t t i n g s ( V o l u m e , B a s s , T r e b l e , Ambience, Loudness) can be adapted to the different sound sources, w h i c h m a y r e s u l t i n a u d i b l e d i f f e r e n c e s w h e n c h a n g i n g s o u r c e ( r a d i o , CD...).
The CD is ejected automatically or is not played by the player.
