FRONT SEATS
Seat consisting of a seat cushion, a seat
back and a head restraint which can all
be adjusted to adapt your position for

Raise the control and slide the seat
forwards or backwards.
Pull the control upwards to raise
or push it downwards to lower, as
many times as necessary, to obtain
the position required.
Push the control rearwards.

VISIBILITY In fog or snow, the brightness
s e n s o r m a y d e t e c t s u f fi c i e n t l i g h t .
Therefore, the lights will not come
on automatically.
Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor, linked with the rain sensor and
located in the centre of the wind-
screen behind the interior mirror;
the associated functions would no
longer be controlled.
Linked with the "Guide-me-home"
lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "guide-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- automatic activation of "guide-me-
home" lighting when automatic light-
ing is switched on (in the vehicle
parameters of the multifunction dis-
p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ) ,
- selection of the duration of main- taining of the lighting for 15, 30 or
60 seconds in the vehicle parameters
of the multifunction display con-
fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ( e x c e p t f o r mono-
chrome display A where this is
p r e s e t ) .
Operating fault In the event of a malfunc-
tion of the brightness sen-
sor, the lights come on, this
warning light is displayed on
the instrument panel and/or a message
appears on the multifunction display, ac-
companied by an audible signal.
Consult a CITROËN dealer.
MANUAL HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
The initial setting is position "0" .
To avoid causing a nuisance to other
road users, the height of the halogen
headlamps should be adjusted in rela-
tion to the load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.
-. Less than 5 people.
1. 5 people.
-. 5 people + maximum authorised load.
2 - 3. Driver + maximum authorised load.

They are located on the back of the
front seats.
Two boxes are available, located under
the rear passenger footwells.
To open them, lift the lid using the
groove

It is located at the rear of the central
console if the lighter is installed in the
front.
12 volt socket (100 W max)
Lift up the control to release the table
and unfold it.
Aircraft style tables
Reading lamps are built into the back of
the front seats, behind the tables. With
the ignition on, they light up the top of
the table without inconveniencing other
passengers.
They are only accessible if the table is
unfolded.
Press the button to switch the light
on or off.
Individual reading lamps
Do not place hard or heavy objects
on the table. They could become
dangerous projectiles in the event
of sharp braking or impact.
As a safety precaution, if too much
pressure is exerted the table will
fold back downwards.

- maximise the volume of the boot,
- partition the boot (storing of the rear shelf...),
- o b t a i n a fl a t fl o o r f r o m t h e b o o t opening to the front seats, when the
rear bench seat is in the retracted
position. P l a c i n g t h e m o v a b l e b o o t fl o o r i n
the low position
Press to release the handle located
at the boot opening.
U n l o c k t h e m o v a b l e b o o t fl o o r b y
lifting the handle.
M a n o e u v r e t h e m o v a b l e b o o t fl o o r
rearwards, then downwards, using
the handle, following the slides on
the sides.
Lock it by folding down the handle. P l a c i n g t h e m o v a b l e b o o t fl o o r i n
the high position
Press to release the handle.
U n l o c k t h e m o v a b l e b o o t fl o o r b y
lifting the handle.
Use the handle to manoeuvre the
m o v a b l e b o o t fl o o r r e a r w a r d s , t h e n
upwards to its high position.
Lock it by folding down the handle.
In the high position, the movable boot
fl o o r p e r m i t s s t o r i n g o f t h e r e a r s h e l f
and fragile objects.
T h e m o v a b l e b o o t fl o o r i s fi t t e d w i t h f o u r
stowing rings to secure your loads using
the net available as an accessory.
Ensure that your boot is empty
before handling the movable boot

CHILD SAFETY
CITROËN recommends that chil-
dren should travel in the rear seats
of your vehicle:
- "rearwards-facing" up to the
age of 2,
- "forwards-facing" over the
age of 2.
GENERAL POINTS RELATING TO CHILD SEATS INSTALLING A CHILD SEAT USING A THREE POINT SEAT BELT
"Forwards-facing"
When a "forwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the front passenger seat ,
adjust the vehicle's seat to the interme-
diate longitudinal position with the seat
back upright and leave the passenger
airbag activated.
"Rearwards-facing"
When a "rearwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the
front passenger seat ,
it is essential that the passenger airbag
is deactivated. Otherwise, the child
would risk being seriously injured or
killed if the
airbag
w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
Intermediate longitudinal position

The rules for transporting children are
s p e c i fi c t o e a c h c o u n t r y . R e f e r t o t h e
current legislation in your country.
A l t h o u g h o n e o f C I T R O Ë N ' s m a i n c r i -
teria when designing your vehicle, the
safety of your children also depends on
you.
For maximum safety, please follow
these precautions:
- in accordance with European reg-
ulations, all children under the
age of 12 or less than one
and a
half metres
tall must travel in ap-
proved child seats suited to their
weight , o n s e a t s fi t t e d w i t h a s e a t
belt or ISOFIX mountings * ,
- statistically, the safest seats in
your vehicle for the transportation
of children are the rear seats,
- a child weighing less than 9 kg
must travel in the "rearwards-
facing" position both in the front
a n d i n t h e r e a r .
