Adjust the pressure using the compressor (to inflate: switch B
in position "I"

to deflate: switch B in position "O"and press button C), in accordance with the
vehicle's tyre pressure label (located on the
left hand door aperture).
A loss of pressure indicates that thepuncture has not been fully plugged; contact a CITROËN dealer or qualified
workshop for assistance. ) Remove and stow the kit. )
Drive at reduced speed (50 mph [80 km/h]max) limiting the distance travelled to
approximately 120 miles (200 km).




As soon as possible, go to a CITROËNdealer or a qualified workshop.Yo u m u s t i nform the technician that you have used this kit. After inspection, the technician will advise you on whether
the tyre can be repaired or if it must be replaced.

You can also use the compressor, without
injecting any product, to:


- check or ad
just the pressure of your tyres,

- inflate other accessories (balls, bicycle
tyres...).

Beware of discharges of fluid.
The expiry date of the fluid is indicated on the car tridge.
The sealant car tridge is designed for single use; even if only partly used, itmust be replaced. After use, do not discard the car tridge into the environment, take it to anauthorised waste disposal site or aCITROËN dealer.

Do not forget to obtain a new sealantcartridge, available from CITROËN dealers or from a qualified workshop.

Battery


Access to the battery
Starting using another
battery
)Connect the red cable to the positive
terminal (+) of the flat battery A , then to the positive terminal (+) of the slave battery B.)Connect one end of the green or blackcable to the negative terminal (-) of the slave battery B . )Connect the other end of the green or black cable to the remote negative terminal (-) of your vehicle .)Start the slave vehicle.)Operate the star ter of the broken down
vehicle and let the engine run.
)Wait until the engine returns to idle anddisconnect the cables. The batter
y is located under the bonnet.
To gain access to it:)
open the bonnet using the interior releaselever, then the exterior safety catch, )
secure the bonnet stay, )
lift the plastic cover on the (+) terminal.

The presence of this label, in particular with the Stop & Star t system, indicatesthe use of a 12 V lead-acid battery withspecial technology and specification;the involvement of a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop is essential when replacing or disconnecting thebattery.
Failure to observe this recommendation may cause premature wear of thebattery.


After refitting the battery by a CITROËNdealer or a qualified workshop, theStop & Start system will only beactive after a continuous period of immobilisation of the vehicle, a period which depends on the climatic conditions and the state of charge of thebattery (up to about 8 hours).

Energy economy mode

These functions are reactivated automaticallythe next time the vehicle is driven. )In order to resume the use of these
functions immediately, star t the engine and
let it run for a few minutes.
The time available to you will then be double
the period for which the engine is left running. However, this period will always be betweenfive and thir ty minutes.

Switching to economy mode
Once this period has elapsed, a message
appears on the multifunction screen indicating
that the vehicle has switched to economy mode
and the active functions are put on standby.
A flat battery prevents the engine from starting (refer to the corresponding paragraph).
If the telephone is being used at the same time on the eMyWay audionavigation system, it will be interrupted after 10 minutes. S
ystem which manages the period of use of certain functions to conserve a sufficient level
of charge in the battery.
After the engine has stopped, you can still use functions such as the audioequipment, windscreen wipers, dipped
beam headlamps, cour tesy lamps, etc. for a maximum combined period of thirty minutes.
This period may be greatly reduced if the
battery is not fully charged.

Snow chains
In wintry conditions, snow chains improve traction as well as the behaviour of the vehicle when
braking

The snow chains must be fitted only to the front wheels. They must never be fitted to "space-saver" type sparewheels.
Take account of the legislation in forcein your country on the use of snow chains and the maximum running speed authorised.


Avoid driving on roads that have been cleared of snow, to avoid damaging your vehicle's tyres and the road surface. It is recommended that before you leave,you practise fitting the snow chains ona level and dry surface. If your vehicleis fitted with alloy wheels, check thatno par t of the chain or its fixings is in contact with the wheel rim.
