Switching the system off
On stopping the engine
- W hile  the  control  screens  remain  on:  the Â
f
unction  is  available.

ressing  the  REST button activates the
ventilation
 for  a  few  minutes.  Activation  of Â

he  function  is  confirmed  by  the  display  of Â
t
wo dashes in the control screens and four
air
 flow  level  indicator  lamps.

ocking  the  vehicle  has  no  effect  on  this Â
f
unction.

he  control  screens  go  off  at  the  end  of  this Â
p
eriod.
 P
ressing  again  before  the  end  of  the  period Â
i
nterrupts  off  the  ventilation  definitively:  the Â
c
ontrol  screens  go  off  and  the  function  is Â
n
o  longer  available. F
T
urn the air flow control to the
left until all of the indicator
lamps  go  off.
This  action  switches  off  the  air  conditioning  and Â
th
e
 v
entilation.
Temperature
 related  comfort  is  no  longer Â
a
ssured  but  a  slight  flow  of  air,  due  to  the Â
m
ovement  of  the  vehicle,  can  still  be  felt.

odify  the  settings  (temperature,  air  flow Â
o
r  air  distribution)  or  press  the  "AUTO"
button
 to  reactivate  the  system  with  the Â
v
alues  set  before  it  was  switched  off.
Avoid
 prolonged  operation  in  interior Â
a
ir  recirculation  mode  or  driving  for Â
l
ong  periods  with  the  system  off  (risk  of Â
m
isting  and  deterioration  of  air  quality).
This switch does not operate the air
conditioning,
 only  the  air  fan.
When the "REST" function is activated,
you
 cannot  modify  the  temperature,  air Â
f
low  and  distribution  settings:  these  are Â
c
ontrolled  automatically  according  to Â
t
he
 a
mbient
 t
emperature.
This function is not available in the
STOP
 mode  of  Stop  &  Start.

Front demist - defrost
These markings on the control panel indicate the control positions for rapid demisting or defrosting  of  the  windscreen  and  side  windows.

Starting the engine
It is not necessary to place the electronic key in t
he r eader. F

 steering  column  unlocks  and  the Â

tarts.

If
 this  warning  lamp  comes  on  after Â

ressing  "START/STOP ", you should
hold
 the  brake  or  clutch  pedal  down Â

ntil  the  warning  lamp  goes  off  and  do Â

ot press the "START/STOP " button
again.
If
 one  of  the  starting  conditions  is  not
 m
et,  a  reminder  message  appears  in
 t
he  instrument  panel  screen.  In  some
 c
ircumstances,  it  is  necessary  to  turn
 t
he  steering  wheel  slightly  while  pressing
 t
he "START/STOP " button to assist
unlocking
 of  the  steering;  a  message
 w
arns  you  when  this  is  needed.If
 the  electronic  key  is  not  detected  in Â
t
he  zone,  a  message  is  displayed.  Move Â
t
he  electronic  key  into  the  zone  so  that Â
t
he  engine  can  be  started.
The presence of the "Keyless Entry
and
 Starting"  electronic  key  in  the Â

ecognition  zone  is  essential.

 a  safety  measure,  do  not  leave  this Â

Capacity of the tank: approximately 60 litres.When the low fuel level in the

Low fuel level
Additions of fuel must be of at least 5 litres to be  registered  by  the  fuel  gauge.
Opening
 the  filler  cap  may  result  in  an  inrush  of Â
a
ir.  This  vacuum  is  entirely  normal  and  results Â
f
rom  the  sealing  of  the  fuel  system.
