Transmission Fluid TemperatureGauge
Indicates transmission fluid temperature.At normal operating temperature, the levelindicator will be in the normal range. If thetransmission fluid temperature exceedsthe normal range, stop the vehicle as soonas safely possible and verify the airflow isnot restricted such as snow or debrisblocking airflow through the grill. Also,higher than normal operating temperaturecan be caused by special operationconditions (i.e. snowplowing, towing oroff-road use). See Special OperatingConditions Scheduled Maintenance(page 581). Operating the transmission forextended periods with the gauge in thehigher than normal area may causeinternal transmission damage. You needto alter the severity of your drivingconditions to lower the transmissiontemperature into the normal range. If thegauge continues to show hightemperatures, see an authorized dealer.
Turbo Boost Gauge (If Equipped)
Indicates the amount of manifold airpressure in the engine.
DEF Gauge (If Equipped)
Indicates the current DEF level.
WARNING LAMPS AND
INDICATORS
The following warning lamps andindicators will alert you to a vehiclecondition that may become serious. Somelamps will illuminate when you start yourvehicle to make sure they work. If anylamps remain on after starting your vehicle,refer to the respective system warninglamp for further information.
Note:Some warning indicators appear inthe information display and function thesame as a warning lamp but do not displaywhen you start your vehicle.
Adaptive Cruise Control (If Equipped)
The speed control systemindicator light changes color toindicate what mode the systemis in. See Using Adaptive Cruise Control(page 240).
On (white light): Illuminates when theadaptive cruise control system is turnedon. Turns off when the speed controlsystem is turned off.
Engaged (green light): Illuminates whenthe adaptive cruise control system isengaged. Turns off when the speed controlsystem is disengaged.

Cruise Control (If Equipped)
Illuminates when you switch thisfeature on. See Using CruiseControl (page 239).
Direction Indicator
Illuminates when the left or rightturn signal or the hazard warningflasher is turned on. If theindicators stay on or flash faster, check fora burned out bulb.
Door Ajar
Displays when the ignition is onand any door is not completelyclosed.
Electronic Locking Differential (If
Equipped)
Illuminates when using theelectronic locking differential.
Engine Coolant Temperature
Illuminates when the enginecoolant temperature is high.Stop the vehicle as soon aspossible, switch off the engine and let cool.
Engine Oil
If it illuminates with the enginerunning or when you are driving,this indicates a malfunction.Stop your vehicle as soon as it is safe todo so and switch the engine off. Check theengine oil level. See Engine Oil Check(page 327).
Note:Do not resume your journey if itilluminates despite the level being correct.Have the system checked by your authorizeddealer immediately.
Fasten Seatbelt
It illuminates and a chimesounds to remind you to fastenyour seatbelt.
Front Airbag
If it fails to illuminate when youstart your vehicle, continues toflash or remains on, it indicatesa malfunction. Have the system checkedby your authorized dealer.
Front Fog Lamps (If Equipped)
It illuminates when you switchthe front fog lamps on.
High Beam
Illuminates when you switch thehigh beam headlamps on. It willflash when you use theheadlamp flasher.
Hill Descent (If Equipped)
Illuminates when hill descent isswitched on.
Low Fuel Level
Illuminates when the fuel levelis low or the fuel tank is nearlyempty. Refuel as soon aspossible.
Low Tire Pressure Warning
Illuminates when your tirepressure is low. If the lampremains on with the enginerunning or when driving, check your tirepressure as soon as possible.

4X2 (If Equipped)
Illuminates momentarily whentwo-wheel drive high is selected.If the light fails to display whenthe ignition is turned on, or remains on,have the system serviced immediately byyour authorized dealer.
4X4 LOW (If Equipped)
Illuminates when four-wheeldrive low is engaged. If the lightfails to display when the ignitionis turned on, or remains on, have thesystem serviced immediately by yourauthorized dealer.
4X4 HIGH (If Equipped)
Illuminates when four-wheeldrive high is engaged. If the lightfails to display when the ignitionis turned on, or remains on, have thesystem serviced immediately by yourauthorized dealer.
Diesel Engine Brake (If Equipped)
Illuminates when you switch themanual engine brake on. SeeGeneral Information (page221).
Illuminates when you switch theautomatic engine brake on. SeeGeneral Information (page221).
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (If Equipped)
With the key in the on position,illuminates when the DEF iscontaminated, low or someonehas tampered with the DEF system. SeeSelective Catalytic Reduction System(page 188).
Wait To Start (If Equipped)
Illuminates when you switch theignition on as part of thepre-start system. Wait until thewait to start indicator turns off beforeattempting to start vehicle. See Startinga Diesel Engine (page 176).
Water In Fuel (If Equipped)
During refueling, it is possible foryou to pumpwater-contaminated diesel fuelinto your fuel tank. Your vehicle’s fuelsystem is equipped with a fuel filter andwater separator to remove water from thefuel. The water in fuel indicator lights whenthe fuel and water separator has asignificant quantity of water in it andrequires immediate draining.
If the water in fuel indicator illuminateswhen the engine is running, stop yourvehicle as soon as safely possible, shut offthe engine, then drain the fuel and waterseparator. See Fuel Quality (page 185).Allowing water to stay in the fuel system,after the water in fuel indicator illuminates,could result in extensive damage or failureof the fuel injection system.
WARNING
Do not drain the water-in-fuelseparator while the engine is running.Failure to follow this warning mayresult in fire, serious injury, death orproperty damage.
Note:Do not drain the fuel and waterseparator while the engine is running. Air willenter into the fuel system causing the enginenot to operate properly.

WARNING

Various systems on your vehicle can becontrolled using the information displaycontrols on the steering wheel.Corresponding information is displayed inthe information display.
Note:Some options may appear slightlydifferent or not at all if the items areoptional.
Note:Trailer options are not available ifyour vehicle speed is greater than 3 mph(5 km/h).
Note:Some MyKey menu options onlyappear if MyKey is enabled and at least oneMyKey is programmed.
This icon gives you the ability toswitch a feature on or off. Acheck in the box indicates thefeature is enabled, and uncheckedindicates the feature is disabled.
Information Display Controls(Type 1 and 2)
•Press the up and down arrow buttonsto scroll through and highlight theoptions within a menu.
•Press the right arrow button to enter asub-menu.
•Press the left arrow button to exit amenu.
