*: Depending on the portable device, the oper ation indicator light may stay illuminated
(orange) after charging has completed.
â—ŹIf the operation indicator light blinks
If an error is detected, the operation in dicator light will blink (orange). Take the
appropriate measures according to the table below.
â– The wireless charger can be operated when
The engine switch is in ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON mode.
â– Portable devices t hat can be charged
â—ŹPortable devices compatible with the Qi wireless charging standard can be charged by
the wireless charger. However, compatibility with all devices which meet the Qi wire-
less charging standard is not guaranteed.
â—ŹThe wireless charger is designed to supply low power electricity (5 W or less) to a cel-
lular phone, smartphone, or other portable device.

NOTICE
â– Conditions in which the wireless charger may not operate correctly
In the following situations, the wire less charger may not operate correctly:
â—ŹWhen a portable device is fully charged
â—ŹWhen there is a foreign object between the charging area and portable device
â—ŹWhen a portable device becomes hot while charging
â—ŹWhen a portable device is placed on the wireless area with its charging surface fac-
ing up
â—ŹWhen a portable device is not centered on the charging area
â—ŹWhen the vehicle is near a TV tower, electric power plant, gas station, radio station,
large display, airport or other facility that generates stro ng radio waves or electrical
noise
â—ŹWhen the portable device is in contact with, or is covered by any of the following
metallic objects:
• Cards to which aluminum foil is attached
• Cigarette boxes that ha ve aluminum foil inside
• Metallic wallets or bags
•Coins
•Metal hand warmers
• Media such as CDs and DVDs
â—ŹWhen wireless keys (that emit radio waves) other than those of your vehicle are being
used nearby.
If in situations other than above the wirele ss charger does not operate properly or the
operation indicator light is blinking, the wireless charge r may be malfunctioning. Con-
tact your Lexus dealer.
â– To prevent failure or damage to data
â—ŹDo not bring magnetic cards, such as a cr edit card, or magnetic recording media,
close to the wireless charger while charging. Otherwise, data may be erased due to
the influence of magnetism.
Additionally, do not bring pr ecision instruments such as wrist watches, close to the
wireless charger, as such objects may malfunction.
â—ŹDo not leave portable devices in the cab in. The temperature inside the cabin may
become high when parked in the sun, and cause damage to the device.
â– To prevent battery discharge
Do not use the wireless charger for a long pe riod of time with the engine is stopped.

: If equipped
Safety Connect is a subscription-based telematics service that uses Global
Positioning System (GPS) data and embe dded cellular technology to provide
safety and security features to subscribers. Safety Connect is supported by
Lexus’ designated response center, wh ich operates 24 hours per day, 7 days
per week.
Safety Connect service is available by su bscription on select, telematics hard-
ware-equipped vehicles.
By using the Safety Connect service, you are agreeing to be bound by the
Telematics Subscription Service Agre ement and its Terms and Conditions, as
in effect and amended from time to time, a current copy of which is available
at Lexus.com. All use of the Safety Co nnect service is subject to such then-
applicable Terms and Conditions.

dealer, call 1-800-25-LEXUS (1-800-255-3987) in the United States (1-877-
539-8777 in Puerto Rico, 1-800-26-LEXUS in Canada) or push the “SOS”
button in your vehicle for further subscription details.

â– Safety Connect Serv ices Information
●Phone calls using the vehicles Bluetooth® technology will not be possible during Safety
Connect.
â—ŹSafety Connect is available be ginning Fall 2009 on select Lexus models (in the contig-
uous United States only). Contact with th e Safety Connect response center is depen-
dent upon the telematics device being in operative condition, cellular connection
availability, and GPS sa tellite signal reception, which can limit the ability to reach the
response center or receive emergency se rvice support. Enrollment and Telematics
Subscription Service Agreement required. A variety of subscription terms is available;
charges vary by subscription term selected and location.
â—ŹAutomatic Collision Notification, Emergenc y Assistance and Stolen Vehicle Location
will function in the United States, includin g Hawaii and Alaska, Puerto Rico and in Can-
ada, and Enhanced Roadside Assistance will function in the United States, Puerto Rico
and in Canada.
â—ŹAutomatic Collision Notification, Emergency Assistance, Stolen Vehicle Location and
Enhanced Roadside Assistance will not func tion in the United States Virgin Islands.
No Safety Connect services will function outs ide of the United States in countries other
than Canada.
For vehicles first sold in the USVI, no Safety Connect services will function in and out-
side the United States Virgin Islands.
â—ŹSafety Connect services are not subject to section 255 of the Telecommunications Act
and the device is not TTY compatible.
â– Languages
The Safety Connect response ce nter will offer support in multiple languages. The Safety
Connect system will offer voice prompts in English, Spanish and French. Please indicate
your language of ch oice when enrolling.
â– When contacting the response center
You may be unable to contact the resp onse center if the network is busy.
When the engine switch is turned to IGNITION ON mode, the red indicator
light comes on for 2 seconds then turns off. Afterward, the green indicator light
comes on, indicating that the service is active.
The following indicator light patterns indicate specific system usage conditions:
â—ŹGreen indicator light on = Active service
â—ŹGreen indicator light flashing = Safety Connect call in process
â—ŹRed indicator light (except at vehicle start-up) = System malfunction (contact
your Lexus dealer)
â—ŹNo indicator light (off) = Safety Connect service not active

â– Automatic Collision Notification
In case of either airbag deployment or severe rear-end collision, the system is
designed to automatically call the re sponse center. The responding agent
receives the vehicle’s location and attempts to speak with the vehicl\
e occu-
pants to assess the level of emergency. If the occupants are unable to commu-
nicate, the agent automatically treats the call as an emergency, contacts the
nearest emergency services provider to describe the situation, and requests
that assistance be sent to the location.
â– Stolen Vehicle Location
If your vehicle is stolen, Safety Conn ect can work with local authorities to
assist them in locating and recovering the vehicle. After filing a police report,
call the Safety Connect response center at 1-800-25-LEXUS
(1-800-255-3987) and follow the prompts for Safety Connect to initiate this
service.
In addition to assisting law enforcemen t with recovery of a stolen vehicle,
Safety-Connect-equipped vehicle locatio n data may, under certain circum-
stances, be shared with third parties to locate your vehicle. Further informa-
tion is available at Lexus.com.
■Emergency Assistance Button (“SOS”)
In the event of an emergency on the ro ad, push the “SOS” button to reach the
Safety Connect response center. Th e answering agent will determine your
vehicle’s location, assess the emergency, and dispatch the necessary assis-
tance required.
If you accidentally press the “SOS” button, tell the response-center agent that you
are not experiencing an emergency.
â– Enhanced Roadside Assistance
Enhanced Roadside Assistance adds GP S data to the already included war-
ranty-based Lexus roadside service.
Subscribers can press the “SOS” button to reach a Safety Connect response-
center agent, who can help with a wide range of needs, such as: towing, flat
tire, fuel delivery, etc. For a descript ion of the Roadside Assistance services
and their limitations, please see the Safety Connect Terms and Conditions,
which are available at Lexus.com.

Tire valve
Tire pressure gauge
Remove the tire valve cap.
Press the tip of the tire pressure gauge onto the tire valve.
Read the pressure using the gauge gradations.
If the tire inflation pressure is not at the recommended level, adjust the pres-
sure.
If you add too much air, press the center of the valve to deflate.
After completing the tire inflation pressure measurement and adjustment,
apply soapy water to the valve and check for leakage.
Put the tire valve cap back on.
â– Tire inflation pressure check interval
You should check tire inflation pressure ev ery two weeks, or at least once a month.
Do not forget to check the spare.
â– Effects of incorrect tire inflation pressure
Driving with incorrect tire inflation pressure may result in the following:
â—ŹReduced fuel economy
â—ŹReduced driving comfort and poor handling
â—ŹReduced tire life due to wear
â—ŹReduced safety
â—ŹDamage to the drive train
If a tire needs frequent inflating, ha ve it checked by your Lexus dealer.

To ensure enough space to per-
form work, turn the steering
wheel to rotate the front wheel
away from the bulb to be
replaced.
Remove the 3 fender liner clips.
Turn the steering wheel to the left
when replacing the right side light
bulb, and turn the steering wheel to
the right when replacing the left side
light bulb.
When removing a fender liner clip,
use a flathead screwdriver to pry the
center portion out and then remove
the whole clip.
Pull back the fender liner until the
connector is visible.
Partially remove the fender liner
and turn the bulb base counter-
clockwise and remove it.

To ensure enough space to per-
form work, turn the steering
