The memory function can be used when the igni‐
tion is switched off.
Seat comfort positions for up tothre e people
can be stored and called up using the memory
function.
The following sy stems can be set using the
memory function:
RSeat, backrest and head restra int
RSt eering wheel
ROutside mir rors
RHead-up Display
#To save :set the seat, thesteering wheel, the
Head-up Display and the outside mir rors to
th e desired position.
#Press the memory button M toge ther with
one of thestorage position buttons 1,2 or 3.
An acknowledgment tone sounds. The set‐
tings are stored.
#To call up: press and hold button 1,2 or 3
until all the seat comfort sy stems are in the
st ored position.

WARNING Risk ofexhaust gas poisoning
Combustion engines emit poisonous exhaust
ga ses such as carbon monoxide. Exhaust
ga ses can enter theve hicle interior if the
trunk lid is open when the engine is running,
especially if theve hicle is in motion.

opening the trunk lid.

wa rds, e.g. when braking suddenly or in the

backrest. The seat belt cann otprotect as
intended and could result in additional
injur y.
RObjects or loads in the trunk cannot be

RLargemobile phones which do not fit into the
mobile phone stowage compartment may not

RThe mobile phone may heat up during the
ch arging process. The mobile phone can be
cooled in the mobile phone stowage com‐
partment when the air conditioning sy stem is
switched on. The cooling output in the
mobile phone stowage compartment is high‐
est when the controller in theglove box is
closed.

Exterior switch-off delay time: theex terior
lighting is switched on for a short time af terth e

Locator lighting: if a switch-off delay time is
set, theex terior lighting remains lit for 30 sec‐
onds af terth eve hicle is unloc ked. When you
st art theve hicle, the locator lighting is switched
off and automatic driving lights are activated.

Installingthe wiper blades
#Insert the new wiper blade into the wiper
arm in the direction of ar row1.
#Slide catch 2inthe direction of ar row 3
until it engages in the locking position.
#Make sure that the wiper blade sits cor rectly.
#Fo ldthe wiper arm back onto the windshield. Maintenance display

led wiper blade.
If th e color of the maintenance display changes
from black to yellow, the wiper blades should be
re placed.

Climate control can be set centrally using the
synchronization function. The temp erature and
air distribution setting forth e driver's side is
adop ted automatically forth e front passenger
side.
#Press the0 button. The synchronization function is deactivated if
the
settings for one of theot her climate zones are
ch anged.
