Maximum
coolant
temperature fi x e d r e d .
The temperature of the
cooling system is too high. Stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Wait until the engine has cooled down before
topping up the level, if necessary.
If the problem persists, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
Engine oil
pressure fi x e d . There is a fault with the
engine lubrication system. Stop as soon it is safe to do so.
Park, switch off the ignition and contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Battery
charge fi x e d . The battery charging circuit
has a fault (dirty or loose
terminals, slack or cut
alternator belt, ...). This lamp should switch off when the engine is
started.
If it does not switch off, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
Door(s) open fi x e d i f t h e
speed is
below 6 mph (10 km/h).
A door, the boot or the rear
screen is still open. Close the door or boot.

Airbags temporarily.
This lamp comes on for
a few seconds when you
turn on the ignition, then
switches off. This lamp should switch off when the engine is
started.
If it does not switch off, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
fi x e d . One of the airbag or seat
belt pretensioner systems
has a fault. Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Seat belt not

audible signal. The driver and/or the front
passenger has not fastened
or has unfastened their seat
belt.
Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the
buckle.
Power
steering fi x e d . The power steering has a
fault. Drive carefully at reduced speed.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Water in
Diesel fi x e d . T h e d i e s e l fi l t e r c o n t a i n s
water. Risk of damage to the injection system on Diesel
engines.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer without delay.
Directional
headlamps fl a s h i n g . The directional headlamps
system is faulty. Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Punctured
wheel fi x e d . One or more wheels are
punctured or seriously
d e fl a t e d . Stop immediately avoiding any sharp action on
the steering wheel or the brakes.
Repair or change the damaged wheel and have
the pressure of the tyres checked as soon as
possible.

Windstop folded
FITTING/REMOVING THE
WINDSTOP
I n t h e " c a b r i o l e t " c o n fi g u r a t i o n , t h e
windstop improves comfort in the pas-
senger compartment.
The vertical part of the windstop can be
folded down to improve visibility when
reversing.
It is supplied folded in four in its protec-
tive case. Windstop unfolded Fitting
Clip the ends of the assembly until a
click is heard.
Unfold the windstop by opening
the two parts to 90° until a click is
heard.
Unfold the windstop frame guides.
Engage the guides in the points lo-
cated behind the rear seat belts.
Unfold each of the two parts fully.

Pull the windstop forwards to release
the guides from the points located be-
hind the rear seat belts.
Fold the windstop frame guides.
Fold the windstop closing the two
large parts on themselves.
Unclip each end individually.
Fold each of the two parts on them-
selves. Storing
Store the windstop folded in its pro-
tective case.
Use the strap intended to secure the
case on the right-hand side of the boot
( r e f e r t o t h e " B o o t fi t t i n g s " s e c t i o n ) .

- "rearwards-facing" up to the
age of 2 on the front passenger
seat ,
- "forwards-facing" over the
age of 2 on the rear side seat .

GENERAL POINTS RELATING
TO CHILD SEATS
Although one of PEUGEOT's main cri-
teria when designing your vehicle, the
safety of your children also depends on
you.
For maximum safety, please follow
these recommendations:

CHILD SEAT IN THE FRONT
"Forwards-facing"
When a "forwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the front passenger seat ,
adjust the vehicle's seat to the interme-
diate longitudinal position with the seat
back upright and leave the passenger
airbag activated.
"Rearwards-facing"
When a "rearwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the
front passenger seat ,
it is essential that the passenger air bag
is deactivated. Otherwise, the child
w o u l d r i s k b e i n g s e r i o u s l y i n j u r e d o r
k i l l e d i f t h e a i r b a g w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
