Service overdue
For 5 seconds after the ignition is switched on, the
spanner flashesto indicate that the service must
be carried out as soon as possible.
Example:the ser vice is overdue by 18 6 miles(300 km).
For 5 seconds after the ignition is switched on,
the screen indicates:
The distance remaining may be weighted by the time factor, dependingon the driving conditions.
Therefore, the spanner may also come
on if you have exceeded the two year service interval.
Following this operation, if you wish to disconnect the battery, lock the vehicle and wait at least five minutes for the zero reset to be taken into account. 5 seconds a
fter the ignition is switched on,
the distance recorder resumes its normal
operation. The spanner remains on.
Service indicator zero reset

After each ser vice, the ser vice indicator mustbe reset to zero.
The procedure for resetting to zero is as
follows: ) switch off the ignition,)
press and hold the trip distance recorder
zero reset button,
) switch on the ignition; the distance recorder
display begins a countdown, ) when the display indicates "=0", release
the button; the spanner disappears.
Retrieving the serviceinformation

You can access the ser vice information at any
time.
)Press the trip distance recorder zero reset button.
The ser vice information is displayed for a
few seconds, then disappears.

The integral key is used to lock and unlock the
vehicle when the electronic key cannot operate:
- cell battery flat, vehicle battery discharged
or disconnected, ...
- vehicle located in an area with strongelectromagnetic emissions.)Pull on button 1, to extract the integralkey 2.)Unlock or lock the vehicle using the key.

Driver's door

Inser t the key in the lock to lock or unlock thedoor.


Passenger doors
)
On the rear doors, check that the child lock
is not on. ) Remove the black cap located on the edgeof the door, using the key.)
Inser t the key into the aper ture withoutforcing, then without turning, move the
latch sideways towards the inside of the door. )
Remove the key and refit the cap.
Remote control problem

Following disconnection of the vehicle battery,
replacement of the remote control battery or
in the event of a remote control malfunction
, you can no longer unlock, lock or locate your
vehicle. )First of all, use the key in the lock to unlock
or lock your vehicle. )Then, reinitialise the remote control.
If the problem persists, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualified workshop as soon as
possible.

Reinitialisation with the remote control
)Switch on the ignition.)Immediately press one of the remotecontrol buttons for a few seconds. )Switch off the ignition.
The remote control is fully operational again.

Changing the battery of the key
Battery ref.: CR2032 / 3 volts.
This replacement battery is available from a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
A message appears in the instrument panel
screen when replacement of the battery is needed. ) Unclip the cover using a small screwdriver at the cutout. )
Lift off the cover.
)
Remove the flat battery from its location.)
Fit the new battery into its location
observing the original direction of fitment.) Clip the cover onto the casing.
Do not throw the remote controlbatteries away, they contain metals which are harmful to the environment. Take them to an approved collection point.

Reinitialisation with the electronic key
)Switch of the ignition. )Immediately press one of the remotecontrol buttons for a few seconds.
)Switch on the ignition
The electronic key is fully operational again.
Changing the battery of theelectronic key

Battery ref.: CR2032 / 3 volts.
This replacement battery is available from a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
A message is displayed in the instrument panel screen when replacement of the battery is

the key ring. ) Slide the flat battery out of its location.

System which protects and provides a deterrent
against theft and break-ins. It provides the
following types of monitoring:





Alarm


- Exterior perimeter

The system checks for opening of the vehicle.
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries to open a
door, the boot or the bonnet...




- Interior volumetric

The system checks for any variation in the
volume in the passenger compartment.
The alarm is triggered if anyone breaks a
window, enters the passenger compar tment or moves inside the vehicle.
- Tilt
The system checks for any change in the attitude of the vehicle.
The alarm is triggered if the vehicle is lifted,
moved or knocked.


Self-protection function
The system checks for the putting out of ser vice of its components. The alarm is triggered if the battery, thecentral control unit or the wires of thesiren are put out of service or damaged.
For all work on the alarm system, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop.
Locking the vehicle with full
alarm system
Activation
)Switch off the ignition and get out of the vehicle.
)
Press the locking button on the
remote control or lock the vehicleusing the Keyless Entry and Starting system. The monitorin
g system is active: the indicator
lamp on the button flashes once per second.

After the locking button on the remote control is pressed or the vehicle locked using the
Ke
yless Entry and Starting system, the exterior
perimeter monitoring is activated after a delay of 5 seconds, the interior volumetric monitoring
after 45 seconds and anti-tilt monitoring after 90 seconds.
If an opening (door, boot...) is not closed fully, the vehicle is not locked but the exterior
perimeter monitoring will be activated after a
delay of 45 seconds.
) Press the unlocking button on
the remote control or unlock the
vehicle using the Keyless Entryand Star ting system.

Deactivation of the volumetric monitoring

The volumetric protection system is
deactivated: the indicator lamp in the
button goes off.

Reinitialisation of the
electric windows

Always remove the key from the ignition when leaving the vehicle, even for ashort time. In the event of contact during operation
of the windows, you must reverse themovement of the window. To do this, press the switch concerned.When operating the passenger electric window switches, the driver must ensure that no one is preventing correctclosing of the windows. The driver must ensure that thepassengers use the electric windows correctly.Be aware of children when operatingthe windows. Followin
g reconnection of the battery, thesafety anti-pinch function must be reinitialised.
The safety anti-pinch function is not active
during these operations:
- lower the window completely, then raise it, it will rise in steps of a few centimetres
each time the switch is pressed. Repeat
the operation until the window closes
completely,
- continue to press the switch for at least one
second after reaching this position, window closed.

Emergency release (Saloon
and SW)
System for mechanical unlocking of the boot in
the event of a battery or central locking fault.
Unlocking
)Fold back the rear seats to gain access to
the lock from inside the boot.)Insert a small screwdriver into hole A of

Safety anti-pinch
Am anti-pinch system stops the closing of the roof, whether sliding or from the raised at the rear position. If the sunroof encounters an
obstacle it par tially opens again.
If the sunroof fails to close at a second attempt,
it may be necessary to force the closing of thesunroof using the reinitialisation procedure.

Reinitialising the system


Following reconnection of the battery, or in the
event of a malfunction in its operation, it may be
necessary to reinitialise the system: ) turn the dial to the right to raise the sunroof
at the rear,
) wait until the sunroof is fully up at the rear,)
then immediately press the dial for at least3 seconds.


I
f the sunroof opens on its own when closing,
as soon as possible after the sunroof stops:


- put the dial in the full
y closed position,

- press the dial,

- maintain pressure on the dial until the
sunroof closes.The anti-pinch function is inoperative during these operations.

The driver should ensure that passengers use the sunroof correctly. Be aware of children when operatingthe sunroof.

Access
Your vehicle is fitted with a tinted glass panoramic sunroof which increases the light
and visibility in the passenger compartment. Itselectric blind helps control the temperature andnoise level in the passenger compartment.

The blind is controlled electrically by a rotaryopening dial.
Opening
Turn the dial to the left (several possible
opening settings).
Safety anti-pinch
If the blind encounters an obstacle during closing, it stops and par tially opens again to the 2nd position.
If the blind fails to close at a second attempt,
it may be necessary to force the closing of the blind using the reinitialisation procedure.
Closing
Return the dial to the initial position.
If the position of the blind does not agree with
the position indicated by the dial, press the dial
to open the blind to this position.

Electric blind

In the event of contact during operationof the blind, you must reverse its movement. To do this, turn the dial. When the driver operates the dial, theymust ensure that nothing prevents theblind from closing correctly.
The driver must ensure that the passengers use the blind correctly.
Be aware of children during operationof the blind.

Reinitialising the system
