mayresultintemporarilyinaccuratenavigation.

Thisensuresthatthedriverengagestheparking

Theacceleratorposition,drivingspeed,engine
speed,longitudinalandlateralaccelerationand
theroadprofileallhaveaninfluenceonthe
gear-changingcharacteristic.
Unwantedupwardshifts,e.g.beforebends,are
preventedbyswiftlyreleasingtheaccelerator
pedal.
Dependingonlateralacceleration,upwardshifts
onbendsarenotmadeuntiltheengine-speed
limitisreached.
Underbraking,anddependingontheamountof
deceleration,theTiptronicshiftsdownearlier.
Forsubsequentcornering,therightgearisen-
gagedwhenpressureisappliedtothebrakes
beforethebend.
Thebendistakenintherightgear,andwhen
youaccelerateoutofthebendyoudonothave
toshiftdown.
Drivingoff
In2ndgear,thevehicledrivesoffwiththe
throttleonlyslightlyopen.
Driveoffin1stgearwiththethrottleopen
widerorwhentheengineiscold.

Slipmonitoring
Whenthespeedsofrotationofthefrontand
rearaxlesdifferbymorethanthemaximumper-
missiblevalue,integratedslipmonitoringshifts
uptothenextgear.
Thisincreasesdrivingstabilityonaslipperysur-
face.

Slipmonitoringisalsodeactivatedwhen
PorscheStabilityManagement(PSM)isswitched
off.
Stopping
