Low fuel level This message comes on when the remaining fuel is
insufficient.
ESP checkThis message comes on when the ESP system is
faulty.
ABS check This message comes on when the ABS system is
faulty.
Engine oil level
checkLCD display shows this message when the engine oil
level is low. Have the system checked at Ssangyong

Auto cruiseLCD display shows this message when turning on the
cruise control switch with ignition ON or engine
running. This message disappears when activating the
cruise control lever.

CAN scan(This message goes off when all the CAN signal inputs
are normal)
ESCLLCD display shows this message when ESCL (Electric
Steering Column Lock) system is defective. There is
no specific ESCL warning light on the instrument
cluster.
This problem could be temporary. Turn the ignition off
and then on again to check if this message will be
disappeared.
This message helps the driver to predict the driving
direction since the tire alignment is displayed on the
instrument cluster.
The images on the left show that the tires are
aligned to the left. When the tires are aligned to the
right, the image is symmetrical vertically.
Tire alignment is displayed between level 0 and
level 5 depending on the alignment degree when
the ignition switch is turned to "ON" position from
"OFF" position with the shift lever in "P" or "N"
position. While the images up to level 2 comes on
for 5 seconds, the images from level 3 stay on.
These messages are not displayed when the EPS
check message is displayed. -

1) Overview
3. INTEGRATED INSTRUMENT PANEL SWITCH
It is mounted to the instrument panel and combined with the cooler; which provides cooling and
dehumidification by repeating the cycles of compression -> condensation -> expansion -> evaporation,
and heater; which controls the heating systemically in the course of circulating the coolant heated by the
engine heat to the heater. This allows the driver to maintain the indoor comfortable conditions throughout
the year.

This is used to remove
the condensation from the
windshield. When you
press the switch, the
indicator comes on and
the air distribution is
changed to the windshield
at the same time, then the
air conditioner starts to
operate. When you press
the switch again, the
indicator goes off and the
air distribution returns to
the previous status.
A/C switch
When the switch is
pressed, the indicator
comes on and the air
conditioner starts at the
same time. Pressing the
switch again gets the
indicator lamp go off and
the air conditioner stop at
the same time.

Windshield heating switch
Press this switch to operate the windshield
heating system for 12 minutes. Press the
switch again to stop the system. The
heated glass will operate for about 6
minutes when the switch is pressed again
within 10 minutes after completion of its
first operation cycle. The indicator lamp for
the switch comes on when the heating is
on.
Hazard warning flasher switch
When the driver presses the switch, all the
turn signal lamps flash regardless of the
ignition switch status. Pressing the switch
again turns off the turn signal lamps. The turn
signal lamp does not operate while the
hazard warning flasher operates.
TRIP/RESET switch
Whenever pressing this button, the information is
displayed in the following order: Odometer, Trip
A, Trip B, Distance to empty, Average fuel
economy, Instant fuel economy, Illumination level,
Tire pressure (with TPMS), Ambient air
temperature (for STD); Trip A, Trip B, Distance to
empty, Average fuel economy/Instant fuel
economy, Illumination level, Tire pressure (with
TPMS), Ambient air temperature (for SVC). Press
and hold this button to initialize (reset) Trip A/Trip
B and average fuel consumption, adjust
illumination level or change the unit of
temperature.
Description
Rear glass/outside rearview mirror heating
switch
Press this switch to operate the rear glass and
outside rearview mirror heating system for 12
minutes. Press the switch again to stop the
system. The heated glass will operate for about 6
minutes when the switch is pressed again within
10 minutes after completion of its first operation
cycle. The indicator lamp for the switch comes on
when the heating is on.
The switch is operable only when the engine
is started.
The hazard warning flasher blinks
during emergency hazard warning
lamp control and air bag deployment
signal activation.

sensors in the rear bumper detect the distance to any obstacle. The PAS detects the returning signals
reflected to the obstacles at regular intervals when the vehicle is parked to indicate the display and alarm
for the distance between the obstacles by phase so as to allow the driver easy parking by securing safe
distance.

4. OUTPUT SPECIFICATIONS FOR SENSOR SELF-
DIAGNOSIS BUZZER SOUND
Fail condition (However, no obstacle should be within 30 cm)

2. The power wire (+ and -)is open -Conditions to "FAIL" in sensor diagnosis
Buzzer interval during self diagnosis
Timeout processing time for buzzer interval after measuring distance/self diagnosis: 600 ms
- If timeout is reached, the PAS returns to undetected condition.
Process while re-inputting
- After timeout, the process is performed normally if the signal required for display is received
from beginning to end. (not detectable if the signal is received in the midst of process) 1.
2.Exception/error handling
Self diagnosis is performed once when the ignition is switched on (gear shift lever in "R" position). If the
system is defective (Fail) due to open sensor or communication problem, the information for the failed
sensor is displayed as buzzer sound.
If it is normal, the warning buzzer sounds for 60 ms.
