Turns the hands-free system off/ends a call/refuses a call
Off-hook switch
Turns the hands-free system on/starts a call
Press and hold: Displays information that is too long to be dis-
played at one time on the display (Bluetooth® audio operation)

• “Toyota Super Long Life Coolant” or a similar high
quality ethylene glycol-based non-silicate, non-
amine, non-nitrite and non-borate coolant with long-
life hybrid organic acid technology
“Toyota Super Long Life Coolant” is pre-mixed with
50% coolant and 50% deionized water.
• Funnel (used only for adding coolant)
XHM01 engine
• “Toyota Genuine Premium Long Life Coolant
2WZ-TV” or a similar hi gh quality ethylene glycol-
based non-silicate, non-amine, non-nitrite and non-
borate coolant with long-life hybrid organic acid tech-
nology
“Toyota Genuine Premium Long Life Coolant
2WZ-TV” is pre-mixed with 50% coolant and 50%
deionized water.

Checking and replacing fuses
Vehicles without a smart entry & start system:
Turn the engine switch to the “LOCK” position.
Vehicles with a smart entry & start system:
Turn the engine switch off.
After a system failure, see “Fuse layout and amperage ratings” for
details about which fuse to check. ( →P. 324)
Open the fuse box cover.
XEngine compartment
Push the tabs in and lift the
cover off.
XDriver’s side instrument panel
Remove the cover.
If any of the electrical components do not operate, a fuse may
have blown. If this happens, check and replace the fuses as nec-
essary.

Remove the fuse with the pull-
out tool.
Only type A fuse can be removed
using the pullout tool.
Check if the fuse is blown.
Normal fuse
Blown fuse
Type A, B and C:
Replace the blown fuse with a new fuse of an appropriate amperage rat-
ing.
Type D:
Contact any authorized Toyota dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified
and equipped professional.
