Using the steering switches∗
Turning on the powerPress when the audio system is turned off.
The audio system can be turned off by holding the switch down until you
hear a beep.
Changing the audio source
Press when the audio system is turned on. The audio source
changes as follows each time the button is pressed. If a CD is not
inserted, that mode will be skipped.
FM (1, 2, 3) →CD player →AUX →MW →DAB (if equipped)

Some audio features can be cont rolled using the switches on the
steering wheel.
Operation may differ depending on the type of audio system or navi-
gation system. For details, refer to the manual provided with the
audio system or navigation system.

CAUTION
■ When using the compact spare tire
●Remember that your compact spare tire is specifically designed for use
with your vehicle. Do not use your compact spare tire on another vehicle.
● Do not use more than one compact spare tire simultaneously.
● Replace the compact spare tire with a standard tire as soon as possible.
● Avoid sudden acceleration, deceleration and braking, as well as sharp cor-
nering.
■ When the spare tire is attached
The vehicle speed may not be correctly detected, and the following systems
may not operate correctly:
●ABS & brake assist
● VSC (if equipped)
● TRC (if equipped)
● Navigation system (if equipped)
Also, not only can the following system not be utilized fully, it may actually
negatively effect the drive-train components:
● Active Torque Control 4WD system (4WD models)
■ Speed limit when using the compact spare tire
Do not drive at speeds in excess of 80 km/h (50 mph) when a compact spare
tire is installed on the vehicle.
The compact spare tire is not designed for driving at high speeds. Failing to
observe this precaution may lead to an accident causing death or serious
injury.
