DISPLAY
WARNING
Be sure to stop the machine
before making any setting
changes to the multi-function dis-
play.
The multi-function display is
equipped with the following:
BASIC MODE:
Speedometer
Clock
Two tripmeters (which shows the
distance that has been traveled
since it was last set to zero)
RACE MODE:
Timer (which shows the time that
has been accumulated since the
start of timer measurement)
Tripmeter (which shows the accu-
mulated travel distance in timer
measurement)
Change tripmeter digits (capable of
change to any given ones)

Changing speedometer display

1. Push the “SLCT2” button for 2
seconds or more to change the
speedometer units.
The speedometer display will
change in the following order:
MPH
→ km/h
→ MPH.

MODE DE BASE
Modification de l’affichage du comp-
teur de vitesse (pour le Royaume-Uni)
1. Appuyer sur le bouton “SLCT2”
pendant 2 secondes minimum pour
changer les unités du compteur de
vitesse.
L’affichage du compteur change
dans l’ordre suivant:
MPH → km/h → MPH.

Setting the time
1. Push the “SLCT1” button for 2
seconds or more to enter the
time setting mode.
2. Push the “RST” button to change
the display for time indication.
The display will change in the
following order:
Hour
→ Minute
→ Second
→
Hour.
NOTE:The digits capable of setting go on
flashing.
3. Push the “SLCT1” button (plus)
or “SLCT2” button (minus) and
change the time. A long push on
the button will fast-forward the
time.
4. To end the setting, push the
“RST” button for 2 seconds or
more.
NOTE:In a 30-second absence of button
operation, the setting will come to
an end with the indicated time.
To reset the seconds, push the
“SLCT1” button or “SLCT2” button.
Changing odometer and tripmeter
A/B (TRIP A/B)
1. Push the “SLCT2” button to
change the tripmeter display.
The display will change in the
following order:
Odometer
→ TRIP A
→ TRIP B
→ TRIP A
→ Odometer.
NOTE:To reset the digits, select the tripme-
ter involved and push the “RST” but-
ton for 2 seconds or more.
Réglage de l’heure
1. Appuyer sur le bouton “SLCT1”

3. Appuyer sur le bouton “SLCT1”
(plus) ou “SLCT2” (moins) pour
changer l’heure. Appuyer longue-
ment sur le bouton avance l’heure.
4. Pour terminer le réglage, appuyer
sur le bouton “RST” pendant 2
secondes minimum.
N.B.:
Si aucune pression n’est exercée sur
un bouton pendant 30 secondes, le
réglage est interrompu et affiche
l’heure indiquée.
Pour remettre les secondes à zéro,
appuyer sur le bouton “SLCT1” ou
“SLCT2”.
Modification de l’affichage du comp-
teur kilométrique et totalisateur jour-
nalier A/B (TRIP A/B)
1. Appuyer sur le bouton “SLCT2”
pour changer l’affichage du totalisa-
teur journalier. L’affichage change
dans l’ordre suivant:
Compteur kilométrique → TRIP A
→ TRIP B → TRIP A → Compteur
kilométrique.
N.B.:
Pour remettre les chiffres à zéro, sélec-
tionner le totalisateur journalier souhaité
et appuyer sur le bouton “RST” pendant
2 secondes minimum.

CHANGEOVER TO BASIC MODE/
RACE MODE
NOTE:Measurement using the timer func-
tion can be made in RACE MODE.
Indicator will light up as an iden-
tifier that shows RACE MODE has
been selected.
RACE MODE cannot display the
functions as in BASIC MODE.
Changeover to RACE MODE
forces the digits for tripmeter A
(TRIP A) in BASIC MODE to be
reset.
Changeover from BASIC MODE to
RACE MODE
1. Push the “SLCT1” button and
“SLCT2” button for 2 seconds or
more at the same time to change
over to RACE MODE.
NOTE:Changeover to RACE MODE will put
manual start measurement on
standby causing and to flash.
(For manual start, refer to “Putting
measurement on standby” in “RACE
MODE”.)
Returning to BASIC MODE from
RACE MODE
NOTE:It is possible to return to BASIC
MODE with timer measurement at a
stop.
1. Check that the timer is not in
operation. If the timer is in opera-
tion, stop the timer by pushing
the “SLCT1” button and “SLCT2”
button at the same time.
2. Push the “SLCT1” button and
“SLCT2” button for 2 seconds or
more at the same time to change
over to BASIC MODE.

N.B.:

Passage du MODE DE BASE en
MODE COURSE
1. Appuyer sur les boutons “SLCT1”
et “SLCT2” pendant 2 secondes
minimum en même temps pour pas-
ser en MODE COURSE.
N.B.:
Le passage en MODE COURSE désac-
tive la mesure de démarrage
manuel, et se mettent alors à cli-
gnoter. Pour le démarrage manuel, se
reporter au titre “Désactivation de la
mesure” de la section “MODE
COURSE”).
Retour au MODE DE BASE depuis le
MODE COURSE
N.B.:
Il est possible de revenir en MODE DE
BASE avec la mesure du chronomètre
arrêtée.
1. Vérifier que le chronomètre n’est
pas en fonctionnement. S’il l’est,
arrêter le chronomètre en appuyant
sur les boutons “SLCT1” et
“SLCT2” en même temps.
2. Appuyer sur les boutons “SLCT1”
et “SLCT2” pendant 2 secondes
minimum en même temps pour pas-
ser en MODE DE BASE.

Auto start
1. Check that changeover has
been made to RACE MODE.
(Refer to “Changeover from
BASIC MODE to RACE
MODE”.)
2. Make the machine ready for a
run by pushing the “SLCT1” but-
ton for 2 seconds or more.
NOTE:When measurement is made ready
for a run by auto start, and will
start flashing. Timer display will turn
on scrolling from left to right.
3. Run the machine and start timer
measurement.
4. To stop timer measurement,
pushing the “SLCT1” button and
the “SLCT2” button at the same
time.
NOTE:If the machine is run while timer
measurement is not made, no
change will occur to the digit in trip-
meter A (TRIP A).
5. To resume the measurement,
again pushing the “SLCT1” but-
ton and “SLCT2” button at the
same time.
Resetting measurement data
NOTE:Resetting can be made in the follow-
ing two manners.
Resetting is possible while timer
measurement is made:
Reset tripmeter A.
Resetting is possible while timer
measurement is not made:
Reset tripmeter A and timer.
Resetting tripmeter A (TRIP A)
1. Check that the timer is in opera-
tion. If the timer is not in opera-
tion, start the timer by pushing
the “SLCT1” button and “SLCT2”
button at the same time.
2. Reset tripmeter A (TRIP A) dis-
play by pushing the “RST” button
for 2 seconds or more.
NOTE:If reset, and travel distance dis-
play will go on flashing for four sec-
onds.
Démarrage automatique
1. Vérifier que le passage en MODE
COURSE a bien été effectué. Se
reporter à la section “Passage du
MODE DE BASE en MODE
COURSE”.
2. Préparer le véhicule pour la course
en appuyant sur le bouton “SLCT1”
pendant 2 secondes minimum.
N.B.:
Lorsque le dispositif de mesure est prêt
pour la course avec démarrage automati-
que, et commencent à clignoter.
L’écran du chronomètre s’active et défile
de gauche à droite.
3. Démarrer le véhicule pour commen-
cer la mesure.
4. Pour arrêter la mesure du chrono-
mètre, appuyer sur les boutons
“SLCT1” et “SLCT2” en même
temps.
N.B.:
Si le véhicule continue à rouler lorsque
la mesure est désactivée, le chiffre du
totalisateur journalier A (TRIP A) n’est
pas modifié.
5. Pour reprendre la mesure, appuyer
de nouveau sur les boutons
“SLCT1” et “SLCT2” en même
temps.
Remise à zéro des données de mesure
N.B.:
La remise à zéro peut être effectuée des
deux manières suivantes.
La remise à zéro est possible pendant la
mesure:
Remettre à zéro le totalisateur journa-
lier A.
La remise à zéro est possible lorsque la
mesure est désactivée:
Remettre à zéro le totalisateur journa-
lier A et le chronomètre.
Remise à zéro du totalisateur journalier
A (TRIP A)
1. Vérifier que le chronomètre est en
fonctionnement. S’il ne l’est pas,
lancer le chronomètre en appuyant
sur les boutons “SLCT1” et
“SLCT2” en même temps.
2. Réinitialiser le totalisateur journa-
lier A (TRIP A) en appuyant sur le
bouton “RST” pendant 2 secondes
minimum.
N.B.:
Une fois la remise à zéro effectuée,
l’affichage et celui de la distance par-
courue clignotent pendant quatre secon-
des.

Resetting tripmeter A (TRIP A) and
timer
1. Check that the timer is not in
operation. If the timer is in opera-
tion, stop it by pushing the
“SLCT1” button and “SLCT2”
button at the same time.
2. Reset all measured data by
pushing the “RST” button for 2
seconds or more.
NOTE:Resetting will reset the timer dis-
play and travel distance display
and put measurement on standby.
Auto start attempt will put mea-
surement on standby as such.
Likewise, manual start attempt will
put measurement on standby as
such.
Correcting tripmeter A (TRIP A)
1. Change the travel distance dis-
play by pushing the “SLCT1”
button (plus) or “SLCT2” button
(minus). A long push on the but-
ton will fast-forward the change.
NOTE:Change can be made any time while
timer measurement is or is not being
made.

Appuyer longuement sur le bouton
accélère la modification.
N.B.:
Des modifications peuvent être apportées
à n’importe quel moment lorsque la
mesure du chronomètre est activée ou non.
