while pressing the brake pedal and manually
start the engine.
Have the vehicle checked by a dealer.

too weak to start the engine or the key is not
within operating range to start the engine.

Shows the instant fuel economy as a bar gr aph in mpg (U.S.) or l/100 km (Canada).
Shows the estimated distance you can travel on the remaining power and fuel. This
distance is estimated from the fuel economy of your previous trips.
Shows the time elapsed since the Trip A or Trip B was reset.
Shows the average speed in mph (U.S.) or km /h (Canada) since the Trip A or Trip B
was reset.
Shows you turn-by-turn driv ing directions to your destination linked with the
navigation system.

Customization is possible when you see the driver’s
ID ( Driver 1 or Driver 2) on the screen.
The driver’s ID indicates which remote transmitter
you have used to unlock the driver’s door. The
customized settings are recalled every time you
unlock the driver’s door with that remote.
Shift to
( P before you attempt to change any
customized setting.
Customizing is also av ailable from the audio/
information screen.
You cannot have Vehicle Settings displayed on the
multi-information display while the audio/
information screen shows the same menu.

■Locking the doors
Press the lock button.

lock, and the security system sets.

Press the unlock button.

driver's door unlocks.

■Using the Remote Transmitter1 Locking/Unlocking the Doors from the Outside
You can lock or unlock doors using the remote
transmitter or keyless access system only when the
power mode is in VEHICLE OFF.
1Using the Remote Transmitter
If you do not open a door within 30 seconds of
unlocking the vehicle with the remote transmitter,
the doors will auto matically relock.
You can change the relock timer setting.

If the interior light switch is in the door activated
position, the interior light s come on when you press
the unlock button.
No doors opened: The li ghts fade out after 30
seconds.
Doors relocked with the remote: The lights go off

the operating range may vary depending on the
surroundings.
