For your convenience\b your vehicle’s headlights au\1tomatically turn on when the
windshield wipers operate.
• Make sure your headlights are in the AUTO
position.
• Turn on your windshield wipers. The headlights also turn on.
• When you turn off the windshield wipers\b the headlights turn off shortly after.
• Lightly push the turn signal lever up or down for a
three-blink sequence.
• For a continuous signal\b push the lever up or down
until it locks into place.
Use this quick and convenient method to signal a\1 lane change.

There are multiple methods to operate the power \1tailgate.
O p e n i n g t h e P o w e r T a i l g a t e U s i n g t h e R e m o t e T r a n s m i t t e r
In ANYTIME mode: Press and
hold the tailgate button for
about one second to unlock
and open the tailgate. In WHEN UNLOCKED mode:
Press the unlock button twice to
unlock all doors and the
tailgate. Then press and hold
the tailgate button for about
one second.
The vehicle must be off with the remote in op\1erating range.
Use the MID to set the power tailgate keyless\1 open mode to your preference.
See your Owner’s Manual for instructions\b or see page 8 for an example of how
to change a setting. The vehicle must be in Park (P) with all\1 doors unlocked.
• Press and hold the tailgatebutton until a beep sounds.
The tailgate begins to open.
• To close the tailgate\b press the button again at any time.

• When using the Talk button\b wait for a bee\1p\b then say a command. Tobypass the system prompts\b simply press the Talk \1button again to say your
command.
• To turn off the system prompts: Press INF\1O\b select Setup\b select Other\b select Basic Settings\b and select OFF for Voice \1Recognition Tutor.
• When the Talk button is pressed\b all availabl\1e voice commands are highlighted in blue.
• Speak in a clear\b natural voice\b and reduce \1all background noise.
• Adjust the dashboard and side vents away fr\1om the microphone in the ceiling\b and close the windows.
• To hear a list of available commands at any\1 time\b press and release the Talk button\b then say “Help.” For a list of full\1 commands by category\b say “Display
information” followed by “Voice Info\b” or see your\1 Navigation Manual.
PickUp button: Answer an incoming
call\b or go directly to the Phone screen.
HangUp button: End a call or decline a
call.
Talk button: Give HFL\b navigation\b
AcuraLink\b audio\b or climate control
commands.
Back button: Cancel a command and
return to the previous screen.

microphone.
To reduce the potential for d\Friver distraction, certain manua\Fl functions may be
inoperable or grayed out while \Fthe vehicle is moving. Voice c\Fommands are
always available.

Program your vehicle to operate up to three rem\1ote-controlled devices around your
home\b such as garage doors\b lighting\b or home \1security systems.
If you have any problems programming HomeLink\b see\1 the owner’s manual
included with the device you are trying to progr\1am\b call HomeLink at
(8\f\f) 355-3515\b or visit www.homelink.com.
Notes:
• If the Pandora app is not selected on your p\1hone\b iPod music is played.
• A pop-up may appear on your phone requesting \1you to allow access for Pandora to be launched.
• If you shut down the Pandora app\b you must \1reopen it on your phone to resume play.
• If you cannot operate Pandora through the audio \1system\b it may be streaming through Bluetooth
®Audio. Make sure to select Pandora mode
on the audio system. If Pandora still does not\1 operate\b you may have to
reconnect the cable.
• Connect your phone only when your vehicle is \1stopped.
