close all doors (see page ). Select
how long it takes f or the interior

60 SEC, 30 SEC, or 15 SEC by

Auto Light Sensitivity
The headlights automatically come
on when the headlight switch is in
the AUTO position and ambient light
reaches a customizable level.
You can select the auto light
sensitivity.

(II) position, press the INFO button
f or more than 3 seconds, then
release it. The CUSTOMIZE ENTRY
screen appears on the multi-
inf ormation display.
Select CHG SETTING, and press the
SEL/RESET button. Select DOOR/WINDOW SET UP,
and press the SEL/RESET button.
Each time you press the INFO ( /
) button, the display changes as
shown in the illustration.
Here are the settings you can

Auto Door Unlock
You can select f rom three possible
settings f or auto door unlock:
SHIFT TO P The driver’s door or
all the doors, depending on your
selection in DOOR LOCK MODE
(see page ), unlock whenever
you move the shif t lever to Park.
OFF
The auto door lock is deactivated all
the time.
Select the desired condition by
pressing the or button, and
enter your selection by pressing the
SEL/RESET button.

To exit this mode without changing
the current settings, select EXIT,

IGN OFF The driver’s door or all
doors, depending on your selection

ignition switch to LOCK (0).

Keyless Lock Acknowledgment
Door Lock Mode
If you unlock the doors by pressing
the button on the remote, you can
select whether the driver’s door
unlocks or all the doors unlock.
Select the desired mode by pressing
the or button, and enter your
selection by pressing the SEL/
RESET button.
The conf irmation screen is shown
f or 2 seconds, then the CUSTOMIZE
ENTRY screen returns. To exit this mode without changing
the current settings, select EXIT,
and press the SEL/RESET button.
When you press the LOCK button
on the remote a second time within 5
seconds after you lock the doors, the
hood, and the trunk with the remote,
a beeper will sound and the exterior
lights will blink once to verif y that
the doors are locked and the security
system is ready.

grabbing the driver’s door handle
while carrying the remote, but do not
open any of the doors within 30
seconds, the doors automatically
relock and the security system sets.
You can select this relock time to be
90, 60, or 30 seconds.
When you press the UNLOCK
buttonontheremoteasecondtime
within 5 seconds af ter you unlock
the doors with the remote, the
beeper will sound twice and the
exterior lights will blink twice to
verif y that the doors are unlocked
and the security system is turned of f .

f or 2 seconds, then the CUSTOMIZE
ENTRY screen returns. If you do not want the beeper to
sound and the exterior lights to blink,
select OFF by pressing the or
button, and enter your selection by
pressing the SEL/RESET button.

Wiper Action
You can select from two settings
when the wiper switch is in the INT
position. To exit this mode without changing
the current settings, select EXIT,

WITH VEH SPD
The wiper intermittent operation
changes with vehicle speed.
INTERMITTENT
The wiper intermittent operation
varies according to the time selected
on the wiper lever. The conf irmation screen is shown
f or 2 seconds, then the CUSTOMIZE
ENTRY screen returns.

When you turn the ignition switch to
LOCK (0) and release it, or remove
the built-in key from the ignition
switch, the steering wheel
automatically moves f ully in and up.
The steering wheel returns to its
original position when you push the
ignition switch or insert the built-in
key back in the ignition switch.
Steering wheel movement is also
controlled by the driving position
memory system (see page ).
To change the ‘‘AUTO TILT &
TELESCOPIC’’ setting, see page .If your vehicle’s battery is
disconnected or goes dead, or the
f use f or the power tilt and telescopic
steering wheel is removed, the
power tilt and telescopic steering
wheel system needs to be reset
when you reconnect the battery or
installing the f use.
Push the ignition switch for more
than 1 second and release it, or
insert the built-in key into the
ignition switch, and remove it. The
steering wheel automatically moves
f ully in and up to let you know the
system is reset.
Move the steering wheel to the
highest position and keep that
position by pushing and holding the
adjustment button for more than 1
second. Then, move the steering
wheel to the most inward position,
and keep that position by pushing
and holding the adjustment button
for more than 1 second.
