DTC memory, checking
(function 02) and erasing
(function 05)

- Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool
and select control module for engine electronics
using "address word" 01 Page 01

should run at idle.

Note:
If engine doesn't start, crank engine using starter
for at least 5 seconds. Do not switch ignition off
afterward under any circumstance. Rapid data transfer
