Exhaust Gas Recirculation
(EGR) vacuum regulator
solenoid valve, checking
Note:
For a functional check of the EGR system
Repair Group 01, Read measuring value block,
display group 001.
- Disconnect EGR vacuum regulator solenoid
valve harness connector.
If the specified value is not obtained: -
Switch multimeter (Fluke 83 or equivalent) to measure resistance ( )
and connect between valve terminals.
Specified value: 25 to 35 - Replace EGR vacuum regulator solenoid valve.
