You can manage personal profiles in the MMI
= page 27. Before driving, you can select your
personal profile in the instrument cluster and

ply customized vehicle settings, such as the seat
position.
Requirement: the driver&#39;s door must have been
opened and the ignition must not be switched
on.
> Confirm the displayed profile @, or

Depending on the vehicle equipment, various lay-
outs may be available.

Adjusting the additional display
Depending on the vehicle equipment, the addi-
tional displays that can be selected may vary.
> Applies to: MMI: Select on the home screen:
SETTINGS > Display & brightness > Virtual
cockpit > Configure.
> Select the desired additional display.
Reducing the display
Depending on the vehicle equipment, you can
hide the central area in the instrument cluster.
> Select on the instrument cluster: vehicle func-
tions tab > E] button > Reduced display.

The power meter gives feedback about the usage
capacity of the drive system. The power meter
needle displays the current usage capacity. A col-
ored border indicates how much the drive system
can currently be utilized. The colored borders
may vary depending on the selected driving pro-
gram and the electric power currently available.
Depending on the vehicle equipment, the power
meter displays the following driving statuses:
Drive system switched off
Vehicle recovering electrical energy
Drive system switched on
®©&O Vehicle is being driven, drive sys-
tem usage information in percent-
age
@ Vehicle is being driven briefly with
maximum power
Odometer
The trip odometer and odometer are displayed in
the status bar @) > page 11.
The trip odometer shows the distance driven
since it was last reset. It can be used to measure
short distances. The odometer shows the total
distance that the vehicle has been driven.
Resetting the trip odometer
> Select on the instrument cluster: vehicle func-
tions tab > I button > Reset mi.
@) Tips
Distances are displayed in mi (miles) or km
(kilometers).
Outside temperature
display
The outside temperature is displayed in the sta-
tus bar @) 9 page 11.
If your vehicle is stationary or if you are driving at
very low speeds, the temperature displayed in
the instrument cluster may be slightly higher
than the actual temperature outside due to heat
radiating from the motor.
At temperatures below 41 °F (+5 °C), a snowflake
symbol appears in front of the temperature dis-
play > A\.

Z\ WARNING
Do not assume the roads are free of ice based
on the outside temperature display. Be aware
that there may be ice on roads even when the
outside temperature is around 41 °F (+5 °C)
and that ice can increase the risk of accidents.

Vehicle functions
The trip computer is displayed in the first tab of
the driver information system. Additional vehicle
functions can be accessed depending on the vehi-
cle equipment.

Lights and Vision

brightness is reached.
Interior lighting
Applies to: vehicles with interior lighting
The ambient lighting turns on when the ignition
is switched on. The ambient lighting is deactivat-
ed when the light function is OFF.
You can adjust the interior lighting individually.
The settings depend on the vehicle equipment.
» Applies to: MMI: Select on the home screen:
VEHICLE > Light & Visibility > Interior light-
ing.
You can choose among predefined color profiles,
such as Maritime.
Additional settings and profiles:
— Brightness: you can adjust the brightness for
all of the interior lighting.
— Individual: you can adjust the brightness and
color of the interior lighting separately, divided
into contour and surface lighting.
— Drive select: the contour and surface lighting
color changes depending on the selected Audi
drive select* mode.
@ Tips
Depending on vehicle equipment, when the
Drive select function is activated, the color of
the contour and surface lighting may briefly
change to red or blue when the interior tem-
perature is manually increased or decreased.
@ Tips
Specific settings are stored automatically in
the active personal profile.

You can adjust the instrument and display illumi-
nation separately. The settings depend on the ve-
hicle equipment.

Turn the knob in the driver&#39;s door to the desired
position:
0 - All adjustment functions are deactivated.
Q/ ®- Adjusts the left/right exterior mirror.
Move the knob in the desired direction.
GR - Heats* the mirror glass depending on the
outside temperature.
S) - Folds the exterior mirrors*. To fold the mir-
rors out, turn the knob to one of the other posi-
tions. You can select if the mirrors fold in auto-
matically when you lock the vehicle In the MMI
=> page 30.
Front passenger&#39;s exterior mirror tilt
function*
To help you see the curb when backing into a
parking space, the surface of the mirror tilts
slightly. For this to happen, the knob must be in
the position for the front passenger&#39;s exterior
mirror.
You can adjust the tilted mirror surface by turn-
ing the knob in the desired direction.
The mirror moves from the reversing position
back to the original position:
— When you switch the ignition off

Additional storage
You will find a variety of storage compartments
and holders at various locations in the vehicle.
— Glove compartment: the glove compartment
can be locked using the mechanical key
=> page 33.
— Holders for a notepad, pen, and coins in the
glove compartment
— Storage compartment in the cockpit on the
driver&#39;s side
— Storage compartments in the door trim panel
— Storage compartments in the front center con-
sole
— Storage compartment under the front center
armrest*
— Nets on the back of the front seats
— Garment hooks in the rear
— Storage compartment in the rear center arm-
rest*
— Removable box* under the cargo floor in the
luggage compartment
— Bag hooks* in the luggage compartment
— Net* in luggage compartment

ZA\ WARNING
—To reduce the risk of injury, make sure all
storage compartments are always closed
while driving.
— Loose objects can be thrown around the ve-
hicle interior during sudden driving or brak-
ing maneuvers, which increases the risk of
an accident. Store objects securely while
driving.
— Only use the storage compartments in the
door trim panels to store small objects that
will not stick out of the compartment and
impair the function of the side airbags.
— Only lightweight clothing should be hung
from the garment hooks in the vehicle. Do
not use clothes hangers to hang clothing.
The pockets of the clothing must not con-
tain any heavy, breakable, or sharp-edged
objects. This could impair the effectiveness
of the side curtain airbags.


— Make sure your view toward the rear is not
blocked, for example by hanging clothing or
objects in the vehicle.

Luggage compartment
General information
All pieces of luggage or objects must be securely
fastened in the luggage compartment. Note the
following to maintain good vehicle handling:
> Distribute the load evenly in the luggage com-
partment.
> Stow heavy luggage as far forward in the lug-
gage compartment as possible.
> Use non-elastic cords attached to the tie-downs
to secure objects.

ZA\ WARNING
— The luggage compartment cover is not a
surface for storing objects. Objects placed
on the cover increase the risk of injury to all
vehicle occupants during sudden driving or
braking maneuvers or in the event of an ac-
cident.
— Loose objects can be thrown around the ve-
hicle interior during sudden driving or brak-
ing maneuvers, which increases the risk of
an accident. Always stow objects securely in
the luggage compartment and secure them
at the tie-downs. Use straps suitable for
heavy objects.
— If pieces of luggage or objects are secured
to the tie-downs with unsuitable or dam-
aged straps, this can increase the risk of in-
jury during braking maneuvers or accidents.
— When transporting heavy objects, the vehi-
cle characteristics will change due to the
shift in the center of gravity, which increases
the risk of an accident. You may need to
adapt your driving style and speed to the
current conditions.
— The cargo net is only strong enough to se-
cure light objects. Heavy objects are not ade-
quately secured. Attempting to secure heavy
objects increases the risk of injury.
— Never exceed the permitted axle and load
