Useofjumpercables
- Adischargedbatterycanalreadyfreeze
attemperaturesjustbelow32oF(0OC).
Beforeconnectingajumpercable,the
frozenbatterymustbethawedcom­
pletely,otherwiseitcould explode.
-Donotallowbatteryacidtocontacteyes
orskin.Flush anycontactedareawith
waterimmediately.
-Improperuseofaboosterbatteryto
startavehicle maycauseanexplosion.
-Vehiclebatteriesgenerateexplosive gas­
es. Keep sparks,
flameandlighted ciga­
rettesawayfrombatteries.
-Donottrytojumpstartanyvehicle with
a low acid level
inthebattery.
- The
voltageoftheboosterbatterymust
also have a12-Volt rating.Thecapacity
(Ah)oftheboosterbatteryshouldnotbe
Lowerthanthatofthedischargedbat­
tery. Use
ofbatteriesofdifferentvoltage
orsubstantialLydifferent"Ah"rating
may
causeanexplosionandpersonalin­
jury.
-Neverchargeafrozenbattery. Gastrap­
pedintheicemaycauseanexplosion.
-Neverchargeoruseabatterythathas
beenfrozen. Thebatterycasemayhave
beweakened.
-Useofbatteriesofdifferentvoltageor
