oroneofthedoorhandlesispulled.The Auto

Inthe eventofacrashwithairbagdeployment,

Yourvehicleisequippedwithaheadlightrange
controlsystemsothatthereislessglareforon-
comingtrafficifthevehicleloadchanges.The
headlightrangealsoadjustsautomaticallywhen
brakingandaccelerating.
Lightfunctions
Thefollowinglightfunctionsmaybeavailable
dependingonvehicleequipmentandonlyfunc-
tionwhenthelightswitchisintheAUTOposi-
tion.
Staticcorneringlight*(vehicleswithLEDhead-
lights)-thecorneringlightswitchesonautomat-
icallywhenthesteeringwheelisturnedatacer-
tainangleatspeeds uptoapproximately44mph
(70km/h)andwhentheturnsignalisactivated
atspeedsuptoapproximately25mph
(40km/h).Theareatothesideofthevehicleis
illuminatedbetterwhenturning.
Highwaylightfunction*(vehicleswithLEDhead-
lights)-thisfunctionadaptsthelightingfor
highwaydrivingbasedonvehiclespeed.
Speeddependentlightdistribution*(vehicles
withLEDheadlights)-thespeeddependentlight
distributionadaptsthelightintownsandon
highwaysorexpressways.Intersectionscanalso
beilluminatedonvehicleswithanavigationsys-
tem*.

—Automaticheadlights*areonlyintendedto
assistthedriver.They donotrelievethe
driverofresponsibilitytocheck thehead-
lightsandtoturnthemonmanuallybased
onthecurrentlightandvisibilityconditions.
