Concept
Mobile devices with USB port can be conj
nected to the USB interface.
A mobile audio device, e.g., a MP3 player, can
be connected using the AUX-IN port.
General
information Depending on the equipment, the USB interj
face is located in the center console or in the
glove compartment.

Mobile storage devices with USB port can be
connected to the USB interface in the glove
compartment.
Common file systems are supported. FAT32 and exFAT are the recommended formats.
The following applications are possible:

In addition to the USB storage devices descrijbed above, additional mobile devices with USB
port can be connected to the USB interface in

The snap-in adapter features a separate USB port that is automatically connected
when a compatible mobile phone is inj

MP3 player.
This allows further uses:

Connecting
an
external
deviceObserve the following when connecting:'yDo not use force when plugging the conjnector into the USB interface.'yUse a flexible adapter cable.'yProtect the USB storage device againstmechanical damage.'yDue to the large number of USB mediaavailable on the market, it cannot be guarj
anteed that every device is operable on the
vehicle.'yDo not expose USB media to extreme envij
ronmental conditions, such as very high
temperatures; refer to the owner's manual of the device.'yDue to the many different compressiontechniques, proper playback of the media
stored on the USB storage device cannot
be guaranteed in all cases.'yA connected USB storage device will be
supplied with charging current via the USB interface if the device supports this. At
higher temperatures, the USB storage dej vice may cause a reduction in the charging
current.'yTo ensure proper transmission of the stored data, do not charge a USB storage
device via the onboard socket, when it is
connected to the USB interface.'yDepending on how the USB storage device should be used, settings may be required
on the USB storage device, refer to the
owner's manual of the device.

Cargo
cover

Push the cargo cover upwards, arrow 1, until it
disengages from the catches and then pull it towards the front, arrow 2.
Installing Proceed in the reverse order to reinstall. The
cargo covers must snap audibly into place on their respective holders.
Enlarging
the
cargo
area
Concept
The cargo area can be enlarged by folding
down the rear seat backrest.
General
information
The rear seat backrest is divided at a ratio of
60 to 40. The left rear seat backrest is conj nected to the center section.
With the through-loading system: the rear seat backrest is divided into three parts at a ratio of
40/20/40. The side rear seat backrests and the
center section can be folded down separately.
Safety
information WARNING
Danger of jamming with folding down the
backrests. There is a risk of injury or risk of property damage. Make sure that the area ofmovement of the rear backrest and the of thehead restraint is clear prior to folding down.'

Locking The glove compartment can be locked with an
integrated key. This prevents access to the glove compartment.
After the glove compartment is locked, the rej
mote control can be handed over, such as at a
hotel, without the integrated key.

Center armrest can be pushed forwards or backwards. It engages in the end positions.
Connection

audio
device
An external audio device, for injstance an MP3 player, can be
connected via the AUX-IN port
or the USB audio interface in the
center armrest.

rear
A storage compartment is located in the center armrest.
Cup
holders Safety
information WARNING
Unsuitable containers in the cup holder
and hot beverages can damage the cup holder and increase the risk of injury in the event of anaccident. There is a risk of injury or risk of
property damage. Use light-weight, unbreakaj
ble, and sealable containers. Do not transport
hot beverages. Do not force objects into the
cup holder.'

Clothes

Clothing articles on the clothes hooks
can obstruct the view while driving. There is a
