In case of danger from the outside or if ice might prevent normal closing, proceed as folj lows:1. Pull the switch past the resistance
point and hold it there.
The window closes with limited jam proj
tection . If the closing force exceeds a spej

point again within approx. 4 seconds and
hold it there.

Generalinformation If you are no longer able to move the roller sunj
blind for the rear window after having activated it a number of times in a row, the system isblocked for a limited time to prevent overheatjing. Let the system cool.

be moved at low interior temperatures.

If the glass sunroof is not completely opened
automatically, the comfort position has been attained. In this position the wind noises in theinterior are the least.

If the closing force exceeds a certain value when closing the glass sunroof, the closing opj
eration is interrupted once the roof reaches the half-open position, or it is stopped when closj

Sittingsafely
An ideal seating position that meets the needs
of the occupants can make a vital contribution to relaxed, fatigue-free driving.
In the event of an accident, the correct seating

Seats
Safetyinformation WARNING
Seat adjustments while driving can lead
to unexpected movements of the seat. Vehicle
control could be lost. There is a risk of an accij dent. Only adjust the seat on the driver's sidewhen the vehicle is stationary.'

Forward/backward
Pull the lever and slide the seat in the desireddirection.
After releasing the lever, move the seat forj
ward or back slightly making sure it engages
properly.
Height
Pull the lever and apply your weight to the seat or lift it off, as necessary.
Backresttilt
Pull the lever and apply your weight to the
backrest or lift it off, as necessary.
Seattilt
Pull the lever and move the seat to the desired
tilt. After releasing the lever, apply your weight to the seat or lift it off to make sure the seat
engages properly.
Electricallyadjustableseats
Generalinformation
The seat setting for the driver's seat is stored
for the profile currently used. When the vehicle
is unlocked via the remote control, the position
is automatically retrieved if the function, refer to page 58, is activated for this purpose.
The current seat position can be stored using
the memory function, refer to page 71.

Seat heating

The maximum temperature is reached when three LEDs are lit.
If the trip is continued within approx. 15 mij
nutes after a stop, seat heating is activated auj
tomatically with the temperature selected last.
When ECO PRO is activated, the heater output
is reduced.
Switchingoff
Press and hold the button, until the
LEDs go out.

There is a risk of jamming when moving
the seats. There is a risk of injury or risk of
property damage. Make sure that the area of movement of the seat is clear prior to any adjjustment.'

The vehicle is fitted with four safety belts to
ensure occupant safety. However, they can
only offer protection when adjusted correctly.
Generalinformation
Always make sure that safety belts are being
worn by all occupants before driving off. Alj
though airbags enhance safety by providing added protection, they are not a substitute forsafety belts.
The upper shoulder strap's anchorage point will be correct for adult seat occupants of evj ery build if the seat is correctly adjusted.
Safetyinformation WARNING
If the safety belt is used to buckle more
than one person, the protective effect of the safety belt can no longer be ensured. There is
a risk of injuries or danger to life. Do not allow more than one person to wear a single safety
belt. Infants and children are not allowed on an occupant's lap, but must be transported andsecured in designated child restraint sysj
tems.'
