A mobile audio device, e.g., a MP3 player, can
be connected using the AUX-IN port.

The snap-in adapter features a separate USB port that is automatically connected
when a compatible mobile phone is inj

Common file systems are supported. FAT32 and exFAT are the recommendedformats.

Connecting
an
external
device Observe the following when connecting:
'yDo not use force when plugging the conjnector into the USB interface.'yUse a flexible adapter cable.'yProtect the USB storage device againstmechanical damage.'yDue to the large number of USB mediaavailable on the market, it cannot be guarj
anteed that every device is operable on the
vehicle.'yDo not expose USB media to extreme envij
ronmental conditions, such as very high
temperatures; refer to the device owner's manual.'yDue to the many different compressiontechniques, proper playback of the media
stored on the USB storage device cannot
be guaranteed in all cases.'yA connected USB storage device will be
supplied with charging current via the USB interface if the device supports this.'yTo ensure proper transmission of thestored data, do not charge a USB storage
device via the onboard socket, when it is
connected to the USB interface.'yDepending on how the USB storage device should be used, settings may be required
on the USB storage device, refer to the dej
vice owner's manual.

The cargo area can be enlarged by folding
down the rear seat backrest.
The rear seat backrest is divided into two parts at a ratio of 60 to 40.

The sides can be folded down separately or toj

Danger of jamming with folding down the
backrests. There is a risk of injury or risk of property damage. Make sure that the area ofmovement of the rear backrest and the of thehead restraint is clear prior to folding down.'

With an unlocked backrest, an unsecured
load can be thrown into the vehicle's interior, e.g., in case of an accident, braking or evasivemaneuver. There is a risk of injury. Make sure
that the backrest engages into the locking afj ter folding it back.'
