requires a data transfer to BMW or a service proj vider. The data transfer can be deactivated forsome functions.

Concept
Depending on the usage, the vehicle stores perj
sonal data, such as stored radio stations. This
personal data can be permanently deleted using iDrive.
Generalinformation Depending on the equipment package, the foljlowing data can be deleted:
'xDriver profile settings.'xStored radio stations.'xStored programmable memory buttons.'xTravel and Onboard Computer information.'xMusic collection.'xNavigation, for instance stored destinations.'xPhone book.'xOnline data, for instance Favorites, cookies.'xOffice data, for instance voice notes.'xLogin accounts.
Altogether, the deletion of the data can take upto 15 minutes.

connected 'xThere are too many Bluetooth devices conj nected to the mobile phone or vehicle.
In the vehicle, delete Bluetooth connections
with other devices.
Delete all known Bluetooth connections from
the device list on the mobile phone and start
a new device search.'xThe mobile phone is in power-save mode or
has only a limited remaining battery life.
Charge mobile phone.
Why does the mobile phone no longer react
'xThe applications on the mobile phone do not
function anymore.
Switch the mobile phone off and on again.'xToo high or too low ambient temperature for
mobile phone operation.
Do not subject the mobile phone to extreme
ambient temperatures.
Why can phone functions not be used via iDrive
'xThe mobile phone may not be properly conj
figured, for instance as Bluetooth audio dej

port that is automatically connected when a

anteed in all cases.'xA connected USB storage device will be supj plied with charging current via the USB interj
