case of danger, focuses automatically on pos#j sible obstacles.
Automaticcameraperspective
The automatic camera perspective shows a
steering-dependent view in the respective
driving direction.
This perspective adapts to the respective driv#j ing situation.
As soon as obstacles are detected, the view changes to a fixed display of the area in front or

Sideprotection Concept
To protect the sides of the vehicle, obstacle markings are displayed on the vehicle at the
sides.
'yNo markings: no obstacles were detected.'yColor markings: warning against detected
obstacles.
Limitsofsideprotection
The system only displays stationary obstacles
that were previously detected by sensors while passing them.

cle moves later on. For this reason, at stand#j
still, the markings are not shown anymore in
the display after a certain time. The area next
to the vehicle must be newly captured.
Dooropeningangle
The maximum opening angle of the doors is
displayed in selector lever position P.
PanoramaView
Concept
The system provides an early look at cross
traffic at blind driveways and intersections.
Generalinformation
Road users concealed by obstacles to the left
and right of the vehicle can only be detected relatively late from the driver's seat. The cam#j
eras in the front and rear capture the sideways traffic area to improve the view.
Yellow lines in the screen display mark the
front and rear end of the vehicle.
The camera image shows different levels of
distortion in some areas and is thus not suita#j ble for distance estimations.
