with
a
compatible
smartphone

compatible
mobile

a
Smartwatch.
To
unlock
and
start
a
vehicle
with
a
compatible
smartphone,
this
function
must
be
offered
by
the smartphone
manufacturer.
The
BMW
app
pro#j
vides
a
check
to
determine
if
the
smartphone and
the
vehicle
are
compatible.
A
driver
profile
with
individual
settings
can
be
as#j
signed
to
a
digital
key.

When

smartphone
as
a
digital
key,

carry

vehicle
key

Key
Card

you.
This
ensures
access
to
the

the
vehicle
key

handed
over
to

can
then
hand
over the

smartphone

Forwarding
authorization To
share
the
digital
key,
select
the

ing
function
on

smartphone,

in the
Wallet
app.
As
soon
as
a
digital
key
is
shared
with
another
person,
the
person
will
receive
an
invitation. When

invitation
is
accepted,
the
digital
keyon

recipient's
smartphone

Limiting
the
range
of
functions Certain
functions

the
digital
key
can
be
limitedbefore
handing
it
over.

if
