55-watt bulb, H7.1.Fold up cover in front of the headlights.2.Turn the lid counterclockwise and remove.3.Remove the connector, arrow 1. Press the
bulb holder into the direction of the bulb
and to the right to remove it from the anj
chor, arrow 2.4.Fold the bulb holder down.5.Turn the bulb counterclockwise and rej move.6.To insert the bulb and bulb holder, proceed
in reverse order of removal. Make sure that the bulb holder snaps into place.7.Close the headlight housing with the lid.

In the wheel house, turn the cover counterj
clockwise and remove it.
Turnsignal
24-watt bulb, PSY24W.
1.Turn the left bulb holder counterclockwise and remove.2.Press the bulb gently into the socket, turn

55-watt bulb, H11.1.Turn the right bulb holder counterclockj wise and remove.2.Press the bulb gently into the socket, turn

The turn signals in the exterior mirrors feature
LED technology. In the case of a malfunction, contact a dealerss service center or another
qualified service center or repair shop.
Taillamps,bulbreplacement Observe the safety information, refer to

The tail lamps in the tailgate feature LED techj
nology.
The lights in the bumper include the function of the rear fog lamp and the reverse gear lights.
In addition, the lights in the bumper assume
the function of the tail lamps if the tailgate is
opened.
In the case of a malfunction, contact a dealerss service center or another qualified service cenj ter or repair shop.
Vehiclebattery
The vehicle battery has 12 volts. The batterysupplies the onboard electronics with energy.

Maintenance
The battery is maintenance-free.
The added amount of acid is sufficient for the
service life of the battery.
More information about the battery can be rej
quested from a dealerss service center or anj other qualified service center or repair shop.
Replacingthevehiclebattery
Generalinformation The manufacturer of your vehicle recommendsthat you have a dealerss service center or anj
other qualified service center or repair shop
register the vehicle battery to the vehicle after
the battery has been replaced. Once the batj tery has been registered again, all comfort feajtures will be available without restriction andany Check Control messages displayed whichrelate to comfort features will disappear.

Vehicle batteries that are not compatible
can damage vehicle systems and impair vehij
cle functions. There is a risk of personal and
property damage. Only vehicle batteries that are compatible with your vehicle type should

Jump-starting DANGER
Due to the high voltage of the drive sysj
tem, there is a risk of electric shock. There is danger to life. Do not jump or directly chargethe vehicle battery with conventional jump-starting.'

Towfitting

The screw-in tow fitting should always be carj
ried in the vehicle.
The tow fitting can be screwed in at the front
or rear of the vehicle.
The tow fitting is located in the storage comj
partment under the hood.
Use of the tow fitting:
'yUse only the tow fitting provided with the
vehicle and screw it all the way in.'yUse the tow fitting for towing on paved
roads only.'yAvoid lateral loading of the tow fitting, for instance do not lift the vehicle by the towfitting.
